Snake prints boots is a major trend this fall and the trend is a twist on the cowboy boots trend. In other words, cowboy boots are trending for fall and the snake print boots is derivative of the trend. The boots add an unexpected interest to an outfit and styling it is really easy. You can pair them with almost any fall colors; off whites, all black, oranges, burgundy...it just goes with most outfits. This pair featured here is very edgy and chic and presently on sale and you can check it on the J. Crew website here.

Vintage brown and white polka dots dress + White Mules
Happy Thursday Beauties 😀 It's another "throw-back Thursday" look today on the blog. I wore this vintage sleeveless brown color polka dots maxi dress a few days ago and you must know by now, that I have a love for the polka dots prints. This dress is pretty old; it's been in my closet for a long, long time and I just styled it with some new accessories to re-new or upgrade the dress. This is actually one styling tip I go by when I am styling old clothes from my closet. I just accessorize with new, trendy or updated accessories and it becomes fun to wear again. I love the color, fabric and length of the dress and the vintage feel and vibes of it. I completed the look with my vintage looking straw bag which is a thrifted piece and my white kitten mules, a recent purchase from Target. I really love the juxtaposition effect of the old and new items in this outfit and the organic feel of the straw bag versus the sleek modern white kitten mules. Green color jewelry from J.Crew were added for a pop of color. I hope your week has been going great. it's almost Friday! Woot! Woot!! 😁 Thank you so much for stopping by here.

Polka dots henley blouse + distressed bermuda jean shorts
The thing I am going to miss most about summer is the casual, laid back fashion. Summer style is always easy, breezy; wear a dress, sandals and just go or a pair of shorts, a top and sandals and you are on your way. I wore this outfit a few days ago when the weather was still warm and nice. The weather is still beautiful here in my city but it's starting to get cold in the mornings and evenings. Back to this outfit, I purchased this polka dots blouse from LOFT a couple of years ago and have enjoyed styling it in so many ways. As we know, polka dots print was the big prints for the summer and it is still going to be a big trend in the fall too along with animal prints; snake print, leopard prints, cheetah prints... I paired the blouse with a pair of heavily distressed DIY denim bermuda shorts and this pair of black and white high heeled sandals I purchased from Amazon two summers ago. My crochet knit bag from Target completed the look. Crochet is another huge trend to watch for in the spring of 2019. This look is edgy and can be worn to casual events like barbecues, to shopping and for hanging out with hubby or your girlfriends.

How to style old staples from your Closet for Fall
Hi everyone, happy Tuesday; I hope the new week is going great. Are the leaves falling off the trees yet where you live? Do you wake up to cold crisp air? Fall is here and it's time to switch up our style a notch including here on the blog. This green Target dress is an old staple from my closet; I love it because of the bold green color and with the right accessories, it can be worn all year round. For early fall, I decided to style the dress by just substituting my summer accessories with fall accessories; summer sandals were replaced with this pair of embellished floral pumps and a silk floral scarf tied to my bag completed the look. In my neck of the woods, the weather is not cold enough yet for scarfs and boots unless you are going for an early morning walk. If it was boots season, I would layer a dark colored sweater under the dress and put on some thigh or knee high boots. What are your tips for transitioning your closet into fall? My tips are below;
- Switch out your Accessories: For this look, I wore dark color floral pumps instead of sandals and switched out my bright color summer straw bag for a darker shade. I have really come to love straw bags and I know I'm going to keep wearing them even if the trend go away.
- Add floral or animal prints accessories to your look: Animal prints is a huge trend this fall and floral prints are just a fall staple. Styling any of these prints into our fall wardrobe completely elevates any look.

Fall Jewelry Trend: Tassels
BaubleBar Tassel and Fringe Earrings
____________________________________________________________________________
_______________________________________________
There are so many trends that are going to make a statement this fall one of which is the tassel earrings trend. Along with the animal prints trend, tassel earrings or fringe earrings would make a huge impact on fall fashion. These earrings which are mostly beautiful creations from the big jewelry designer, Bauble Bar, come in different shapes, lengths and colors. The tassel earrings add a lot of interest to an outfit and can also add pops of color. There is a sale going on currently at the Baublebar site and at Target and if you need to view some selections before you do your fall fashion jewelry shopping, you can enjoy these selections which are some of my favorites.

Floral tulle lace dress + Straw Clutch
Hi everyone, happy Friday 😀 I hope the week has been going great for you. This is a very quick post here showing this tulle dress I wore for Mother's Day this year and also to my friend's 40th birthday celebration a couple of weeks ago. I wore a similar dress last year to a different birthday party and I blogged about it here This dress here along with the blue color piece are the only tulle dresses I own. Remember when tulle skirts and dresses was a huge trend in 2015 and 2016? I loved the trend so much and looked out for a grown-up way to wear it since it was more popular with the millennial and twenty-somethings 😂 I got my wish in this dress; very chic and fun in my opinion. I accessorized the dress with a straw clutch from J. Crew Factory which has since sold out and this lovely pair of wine colored sandals from Go Jane. The sandals are so comfy, chic and affordable that I purchased them in the champagne and purple color. What plans do you have for the weekend? 'like I mentioned in my previous post, Ill be busy organizing my fall and winter closet for myself and other members of my family. Thank you so much for stopping by here; have a blessed weekend.

Plaid Dress + Satin Slides
Happy Thursday Beauties; I hope the weather is beautiful wherever you are because it's been raining steady for over two days in my neck of the woods. The forecast says the rain would end tomorrow and behind the rain comes low temperatures. This weekend the temperature is going to dip to the 40s and that's cold even for this early in fall. This weekend is also the official start of fall so, I can say that fall is definitely here now. It's time to get out all the outer wears; sweaters, jackets, boots, scarves, gloves...you name it 😌 Although I'm excited for fall fashion, I'm not too excited about all the work I have to do in re-organizing my closet. If you do not see any new post on here in the next few days, just know that I am busy somewhere in my closet 😂

Fall bag trend: The Crochet Bag
The Bag is the number one lady accessory that has evolved a lot over the years. There are so many designs and creations of it that it is hard to keep up sometimes. In previous years, the popular bag designs were the purse, the tote, the handbag and a few other variations. These days, we have the bucket bags, the saddle bags, the cross body bags, the straw bags, basket bags, belt bags...just to name a few. All kinds of women bags are now in the mainstream of fashion. This fall, the straw bag would still be a huge trend in all its variations but mostly in the bucket form and in dark hues as well. However, the bag that is set to take over the straw bag for fall is the "Crochet bag." This is the handwoven crochet or knitted style of bags. The famous bag designer Cult Gaia who designed the popular summer Ark bag has designed this beautiful woven master piece here. There are so many variations of the crochet bag in the store as has been over the last seasons; it is just that they will become more popular this fall in my humble prediction. Etsy also has a wide selection of crochet bags from very talented artisans. Styling these bags would be very easy as they go with knits and warm sweaters and clothing that is already associated with the fall season. Happy styling.

Big dots, small dots + Bermuda Shorts
Hi Friends, happy Tuesday; this is a quick post here showing one of the polka dots outfits I wore during the summer. This is a very casual look and it is a mix of old and new items from my closet. The polka dots blouse is an old purchase from T. J. Maxx and the bermuda shorts is an old closet staple. I mixed the old items with my new pair of white kitten mules from Target and this pvc bucket bag from Shein. White shoes are now the new neutrals and white mules worn in the summer would transition to white ankle boots in the fall and winter. This big and small polka dots on this blouse that look like some kind of splatter is a twist on the polka dots trend. Again, I look forward to wearing this trend into fall and I'm loving this sweater here. I wish you a blessed rest of the week and thanks so much for stopping by here.

Yellow Polka dots Maxi Dress + White Mules
Happy Monday Friends; I hope everyone reading this blog post today is doing great. There is so much going on in the world right now and so much catastrophe that when we wake up in the morning and are strong and can go about our daily duties, we have enough reason to give God thanks. I'm very thankful for a lot of things including this outfit I am wearing that I purchased from Shein for under $30. I had heard so much about the site; that their prices are very affordable and I wanted to test out the quality of their Fashion. The pvc bag I am holding here is also from the store. I must say I was very impressed when my items arrived. The quality of this dress and the other pvc bags that I ordered is very good. This is not a sponsored post, just my own opinion and I'm just going to say I recommend Shein as a shopping site; at least you get good quality for the affordable price. It might not be the best quality but it's good enough. And with the way trends come and go so fast these days, you don't have to splurge on any item any more at a high end brand when you can make a purchase at an affordable site.
