Grey knit dress + white boots for Spring

 

      Grey dresses do not get enough love as they should for whatever reason. I love grey dresses or outfits though and I do not know why but I think it might be because of the long cold winter in my city. There is no way I can go through the whole of winter without wearing the color grey; it may be a grey pantsuit, a sweater dress or linen dress or just sweater and pants. This post is on the recent addition to my grey wardrobe; this gray, chambray, fit and flare dress that I wore to Church a while back. The weather was really cold, so I had to wear some tights and I decided to wear black tights underneath for a deep contrast in color.

This knit dress was purchased from JCPenney and it's similar to another knit dress I wore here in my previous post. I love the style of it, the waist ties to cinch the waist and the soft comfy fabric. I paired the dress with white accessories, keeping everything simple. Another way to style this dress would be the way I did in this previous post here with a similar knit dress.  Of course, snake print boots would be another styling option especially in the fall. Green Puffer Coat + Black Denim

           ϸuffer coats made a big resurgence last fall in more dramatic styles and bold colors. I have had this green piece for years now and though it is not big or dramatic in size, it is bold in color. It's a thrifted piece I got years ago and yes, if you have read this blog long enough, you would know by now that a good part of my outerwear which includes blazers and coats and jackets were purchased pre-loved.

 Due to the harsh/cold seasons in my state, there is always good inventory of outerwear at our consignment and thrift stores. I threw the jacket over a plain white tee and black denim and completed the look with my worn combat boots and a lucite bag or clear bag. The clear bag is from Shein. All white Outfit + Trench Coat

         𐌹n today's post, I'm wearing a Fall outfit that I repurposed for spring; Now that the weather has warmed up greatly, all my favorite trench and duster coats are in heavy rotation. A pair of snake print boots completed this all-white look along with this cow print bag that was gifted to me by my sister-in-law.
