Spring is here and it is time for trench coats, cardigans and kimonos. Trench coats provide warmth on cool spring days and are also very chic and stylish. I would say a Trench coat is a basic piece of clothing that should be in a lady's wardrobe irrespective of whether she lives in a temperate region or not. I got this from the Nordstrom sale last year and it was sitting pretty in my closet until I bought this blue pumps from Jcrew and I realized that it is a match made in heaven. I wore this outfit a couple of days ago to visit a friend and took these pictures quickly before stepping out of the house.

Do you have a favorite piece of clothing or accessory for Spring? Scarfs used to be my best accessory or clothing item for Spring but I have found a new love in trench coats.
