              ᒣt's a few days to Christmas and the new year and this is not the time to be running around trying to find yourself an outfit to wear to a Christmas holiday event. The holiday is a time to be merry and a time to be with family and friends so, do not sweat anything if you do not have an outfit figured out yet; just take a deep breath and relax. At times when you are in need of a quick outfit and do not have any outfit in mind, just do the default outfit; all black. An all black outfit is very safe for any event. The Pearl Earrings Trend

Pearls have been statement jewelry for centuries back and are highly regarded as status jewelry. Their value and price has made them special occasion jewelry; to be worn when there is a very special event and then kept in a safe box. This is true of real, genuine pearls; however, faux pearl or fake pearls have also been around for years and while they are not of great value, they are beautiful to look at and can also be as stylish as the real ones. Some pearls are encrusted with real diamonds or other valuable stones like this cultured fresh water pear drop earrings  that retails for about $800 because it has diamond accents in it and this some what similar set  that retails for about $450. There are so many trends that are going to make a statement this fall one of which is the tassel earrings trend. Along with the animal prints trend, tassel earrings or fringe earrings would make a huge impact on fall fashion. These earrings which are mostly beautiful creations from the big jewelry designer, Bauble Bar, come in different shapes, lengths and colors. The tassel earrings add a lot of interest to an outfit and can also add pops of color. Gingham Pant + Pink Mules

This is a look I wore some time last Summer. I scored this bold gingham prints cropped pants off of New York & Company and the sleeveless top is an old purchase I think I got from Loft. The bib necklace is from DSW and if you don't know, they sell clothing accessories too; scarfs, jewelry, bags...the bracelet is a thrifted piece; very cool bracelet; you just wind and twist it around your wrist any how you like it. Ten bucks for One

                                                            Walmart Jewelry Haul

Hi Friends, I promised to do a post on the jewelry I purchased at Walmart during the summer and I finally got to it. I took the pictures with my iPhone and could only do limited editing so the lighting/exposure is not that great but I'm sure they are good enough for you to see the quality.  The statement necklaces are ten dollars a piece and they really look pretty for that price. The quality of the necklaces are also very good and they can be compared to statement necklaces from other reputable stores like J. Crew. You can check them out online or head out to your closest Walmart store.
