Straight from the Pack

Black Blazer: Old
Denim Shorts: H & M
White tee: Customink
Shoes: Steve Madden

It's graphic tee time! The weather was very much perfect today for me to wear my custom made tee I designed on Customink.com and talked about in this post here. The long-sleeved tee arrived weeks ago and I only took a peek to make sure it met my specifications. When I woke up today to a rainy and gloomy weather, I knew it was time to get the tee straight from the pack. I paired it with a black blazer over a pair of denim shorts and put on my three inch red patent Steve Madden shoes. (I have been loving my low heel shoes lately but I do miss my six inch heels.)

I want to say a big thank-you to all who stopped by my last post to say hi and I really appreciate your visit. Thanks so much for visiting and reading and have a blessed and beautiful weekend.

Blue and yellow; high and low

Yellow blazer: Fashion Bug
Skirt: Neighborhood boutique
Pumps: Jessica Simpson Waleo
Purse: (Old) thrifted

Cobalt blue is a color I recently added to my wardrobe; first through the introduction of accessories like this blue Jessica Simpson pumps then I went all out and bought this blue skirt from a neighborhood boutique at a very discounted price. The skirt is actually very long and reaches to my ankles worn previously in this post. I just pulled it up to achieve a strapless dress look and wore a little jacket over it to protect my bare shoulders and finish off the look. I made sure I pulled the front part higher up because I wanted to achieve a high-low look and with a few matchy-matchy accessories, I created a new outfit. Viola!

My inspirational verse for the week.

                                                                       Psalm 34:17-22

17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. 18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. 19 A righteous man may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all; 20 he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken. 21 Evil will slay the wicked; the foes of the righteous will be condemned. 22 The LORD redeems his servants; no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him

Thanks so much for reading and do enjoy your weekend. Check out the above verses from the bible and visit biblestudytools.com to explore other study resources. Today is Sunday and I'm reflecting on the above verse/quote for the rest of the day and would dwell on it the whole week.

7. Colin Stuart Side Lace Riding Boot $98.00           8. Colin Start Riding Boot $98.00

These are some of the flat soled boots under $100.00 that I'm loving for this fall but since I can't have them all right now, I'm trying to make a decision on what would be the biggest and stylish bang for my buck! Living in Minnesota, winter accessories are things you can't do without. So having a couple of flat knee boots in your closet is not a splurge or a luxury but a necessity. The Report Signature Maverick riding boots are a little over a hundred bucks but they are super cute!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and like I always like to say about myself, I love Fashion but I love God and family most. Please, take some time out to enjoy some three Fs this weekend; Faith, Family and Fashion.

Black and White - Three; Sheer Bliss

Black Jacket: Fashion Bug (Old)
Sheer Blouse: T. J. Maxx
Calvin Klein Pants: T. J, Maxx
Blue Pumps: Colin Stuart via Victoria's Secret

This is another take on the white and black trend that I did this Summer which is almost over **sniff **sniff. Fall begins officially this weekend and the chill is gradually creeping in. I guess it's about time to start pulling out those cardigans and light weight jackets. The sheer blouse I put on in this shoot has since been retired waiting for next summer. It was the perfect blouse to layer underneath a black blazer on a hot day. It kept me cool and chic at the same time but I never knew so much of the belly was going to peek through the sheer blouse...:)

Thanks so much for reading and have a fabulous weekend.

Seeking..

Top: T. J. Maxx
Purse & Pants: old
Shoes: Zigisoho via DSW

Hi Everyone, it's been a while; like a week? there were times a while ago when I used to sign in and check my blog every day for updates and I even had time to go visiting other blogs but these days, I do go a number of days without checking in and it's not because I lost interest or do not love blogging anymore. I have just been a little busy with family life and with the new addition coming into the family, I try to relax and just laze around during my spare time...:)

I'm also using this time to seek out ways I can improve my blog outlook especially my pictures...:) I have been holding unto and using my old crappy camera because I'm too thrifty to retire it. Hubby has even asked to upgrade my camera a couple of times but I told him not to bother. Thanks to my little one, the camera would finally be going  in the trash soon..:) She accidentally knocked the camera against the wall when most of the pics in it had not been uploaded. I managed to save some of them and these pics are some of the pics that were recovered. I took them a couple of weeks ago.

I have since retired the black ankle pants as they do not fit anymore and are a bit old now and I recently ordered a new pair from loft. I went up two sizes and would pay some alteration dues when the time comes...:-D

Thanks so much for visiting and do have a lovely weekend.

Graphic Tees

Graphic Tees

Graphic tees are trending right now and as much as I love the idea of printing your opinion on your tee, I must say I have been a little appalled at some of the messages I have seen printed on tees. However, I really do love this trend and have made up my mind to print some super cool messages about my love for God on my tees. I visited Customink.com recently and designed my own tee with a super cool message. My tee is on its way and I can't wait to add it to my fall wardrobe. If I really like the quality, then I would design and order a couple more. Below are pics of my precious tee after I designed it on the site.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful and blessed weekend.

School Run

So, it's back to school and the day after labor day was the first day of school for my kids. I had taken a mini vacation from work to give me all the time I needed for all the shopping and hustle of getting the kids ready for school. Hubby and I put in hours of shopping and organizing in order to make sure the  kids got all the clothes, toys and school supplies they needed for the school year and I'm almost exhausted right now from all the work...:) The most important preparation given to the kids was when my hubby laid hands on them and prayed for God's grace and favor to abound. I seriously recommend all parents to do this; do not just send your kids out like that to face new situation without giving them God's blessings.

In order not to outdo the kids on their first day, I put on something very simple for the first official school-run day of the school year; a simple lime colored eyelet jacket over a white tee and black shorts. The outfit was understated so I decided to kick it up a notch by wearing my favorite Gingham sling-back sandals. Thanks so much for reading and have a wonderful weekend.

Jacket: Loft (old)
Shorts: H&M
