Blue Denim Dress + Blue Trench Coat

 

       

        It's still quite cold where I live or let me say it is usually cold in the mornings. I can barely leave the house without throwing on a light outer wear and I really look forward to warmer weather. My favorite outerwear to wear at this time of the year is trench coat. They are just so versatile and chic. I threw this blue piece over an old denim dress previously styled here and completed the look with a pair of black boots with cute sculptural heel design and a monogrammed denim Guess Bag, all old pieces from my closet.

How to style a chic and effortless look this Spring

 

        Spring is the season for transition fashion outfits and that means it's time to ditch those heavy winter coats for a light jacket and this change of wardrobe between seasons does not mean that we have to lose our style. We can still look chic and effortless when we style the right pieces in our wardrobe. You can check out the pieces below;

The Trench Coat: The first transition style essential piece that I would recommend is a trench coat. We all need a trench coat in our closet. If you are just starting out building your wardrobe, consider getting a trench coat in a neutral color like beige, brown or black. It goes well with almost any outfit combination. You can throw a trench coat over any style of outfit, be it casual or formal based on the color and style of the trench coat that you get. Fashion Inspiration for Spring Break

 

          Are you packed for spring break yet? If you are looking to get away for spring break and need some inspiration on what fashion pieces to take with you, this post is for you. If I were to pack for a getaway to a sunny destination where there is water (Beach or Pool) and I want to make my entire wardrobe interesting, the first thing I would do is to pick a theme or color for my style. Do I want to pack classic pieces or do I want to go bohemian? Also, It might be a great idea to let your destination dictate your style.

Red Puffy Coat + All black outfit

       Red has been having a moment this winter but more in accessories like gloves, stockings, bags and shoes than in full outfits. This casual look; a black knit dress and red puffy coat is what I wore to an event I volunteered at a few weeks ago. The weather was cold and blustery with snow flakes flying in the air and had my hair whipping across my face. The event I volunteered at required me to be on my feet for a certain time so, I had to wear my Report Signature flat boots. A very simple look as usual...

        Happy, happy new year! my dear friends 😀 I hope the new year is going great for you so far. There is so much stress and heartache going on in the world right now with all the wars and economic situation that, just making it into the new year is enough cause for celebration. It does not matter if we don't have that latest outfit or latest car. It is just enough to be alive and well too.
