        Slingback heels are on trend this season and you can purchase them at various price points at different designs from different retailers. This YSL slingback heels is one of the popular trending slingback design this season but for $1,150, the price is definitely a splurge. I love the shape of the heel and the gold tone accents which makes this a festive shoe that can be paired with holiday and party outfits. This Saint Laurent heels is made of glazed leather and that somewhat justifies the price. A knit dress is an essential piece this season

How is everyone doing? I know we all can't wait for this year to get done because there is so much faith in us that the new year is going to usher in great things. I am very excited for Christmas which is just two days away and I am also excited about this knit dress which I got from Lulus. It is one of the best purchases I ever made. The wine color midi dress with bubble sleeves is very appropriate for this season because of the Christmassy color. I also like that it is very modest and chic at the same time. Shoe Lovin' - Square toe Satin Loafers

               ᔑquare toe shoes are trending this season and so is loafers. Although, this classic shoe style has been around for a long time, it cycles in and out of the fashion scene from time to time. It has reemerged as a trend this season mostly because of the square toe trend. I spotted this satin loafers on line and decided to feature it here on the blog on the Shoe lovin' Series. The pearl accessory or embellishment is such a cute detail and the cameo color gives a nod to the combat shoes trend. Shoe Lovin.' - Combat Boots

             ᕦombat boots have been trending for a while now and I presumed it was just going to be a passing but was I wrong! The shoe trend is still going strong this winter. This trend has a lot to do with function now more than style especially in this winter season. It is the best kind of boots to wear in this snowy, cold weather in my neck of the woods. As always, I had to look out for a cute, affordable pair that has good quality at the same time and I found this faux snake print pair at DSW.              եhis Chloe python print leather ankle boots has been trending since summer and they are sold out in most stores and not surprising. The boots are beautiful to look at and has very interesting details. The brown color snake print differentiates it from the popular snake prints boots that has been trending for about two seasons now. The cut-outs mean that it can also be worn in the summer time and the shoe lace and buckle design makes for an edgy look or design. The fact that it is made of leather might justify the hefty price of $596.00 (currently on sale) but the price is still too steep in my opinion. Another shoe lovin' post here featuring this beautiful knee high stiletto heel boots. This Balmain designer boots have since sold out online but since this shoe lovin' post or feature on the blog is dedicated to highlighting shoes that are unique or trending, (check out this previous shoe lovin' post here) it still needs to be blogged about irrespective of the fact that they actually retailed for over a $1000 dollars. The "mule style" design of this boots is really eye catching and the boots are so elegant that they look like sculptural pieces.  The gold toned tipped stiletto heels also add to the wow factor of these heels. Since this pair is definitely a splurge and this blog is dedicated to only affordable fashion, consider this an inspirational post if you are the creative type, maybe this post would inspire you to take pen to paper to create some unique shoe designs of your own? Shoe Lovin' - Glitter Satin Pumps

It is the season of sparkly and glitter and this pair of Jimmy Choo glitter pumps would add all the sparkles and shine you need to a holiday outfit. I love the iridescent color of the pumps which makes it great to pair with almost any outfit. Glitter pumps are special occasion shoes that can be worn to parties and events like weddings, showers, the whole year through and at the end of the year, they can become our favorite holiday shoe. At close to $800 a pair, these shoes are pretty expensive but the best time to snag a pair is during this holiday season when big designer stores give discounts or shopping points to their customers. Shoe Lovin': Brown Suede ankle Boots

Brown suede boots are my new favorite things or my new favorite shoes especially when they are ankle boots. I really loved this contrast color suede ankle boots from Shopbop the first time I saw them online and was not surprised when the boots sold out so quickly; they are so beautiful; the color, the lace at the back sole and the style makes the boots so unique. I have since searched for a similar pair online but was not able to find any style that close in look. In the process of searching for this pair, I realized that my shoe closet was actually missing a pair of brown ankle boots and that there were so many other affordable styles available. I got this beautiful pair from Nasty Gal  during their summer sale and it's such a simple cute style of ankle boots that can be paired with denim, dresses and skirts. This Aquazzura pair here is also very beautiful but since the price is quite steep, an affordable similar pair here would do. Snake prints boots is a major trend this fall and the trend is a twist on the cowboy boots trend. In other words, cowboy boots are trending for fall and the snake print boots is derivative of the trend. The boots add an unexpected interest to an outfit and styling it is really easy. These sparkly bejeweled flat heel pumps are not trending this summer but it caught my eye all the same when I saw it online. This shoe is certainly a showstopper and though I have not seen it up close  the craftsmanship seems to be very good. At over $350.00, the price is pretty steep and not on my shopping list right now but it does inspire me about crafts and DIY projects. If you are familiar with the name, you know that the designer, Amina Jillil has an inspirational story on how she became a shoe designer. This beautiful pair here would go well with an all black outfit or all white outfit and would also pair very nicely with a white button down shirt and a great pair of denim. 

Shoelovin' - White Pointy toe Mule Pumps

The shoe that is the topic of our shoe loving' post today is this Gianvito Rossi pointed toe mule pumps in white color. The pumps are super chic and edgy and can take any casual outfit to a high level of classy. It can be worn with dresses, skirts or denim and the white color stands out in a very good way. This design or shoe trend is super popular this summer and somewhat mimics the white boots trend we had last winter. Shoe Lovin' - Lilac Pumps

 

Lilac color is trending this spring and clothes, accessories and even beauty products are sporting this color. We know pastels are generally popular in the spring time but lilac is just in a special class of its own this season. I do not own a pair yet but if I were to get into the lilac shoe trend, I would definitely purchase a pair that is of good quality but not so expensive. You never know; the trend might not extend into the summer and if you buy an expensive pair, it would just lay waste in your closet. In my opinion, such a waste is not acceptable.

I "looveee" pumps! Pumps are just the best thing ever to happen to women in my opinion when it comes to Fashion. I do love sandals, mules and slides too but my love for pumps is deep! 😇 This is why I put up this post "Shoe Loving" every once in a while to showcase any new affordable pump or style that caught my eye in the season.
