White ruffle hem dress + twist knot Sandals

           White color outfits or bright color dresses are the best when it comes to beating the summer heat along with natural fabrics. The heat in Minnesota has been on a high intensity and all my white color outfits are now at the front of my closet. I wore this flared ruffle hem dress recently and styled it with just neutral accessories; one of my favorite way of styling whites. I'm loving this sculptural piece from Ferragamo that I saw recently on the DSW website. The colorful sculptured heels is what makes this shoes a show stopper and the white color too is really a nice contrast. Doing Summer in my Green Dress

 

     ዙow is everyone doing? I hope we are all strong, healthy and still keeping up with our Covid sanitation. I just wanted to pop in here real quick to show this green dress I wore the other day; actually an old piece from my closet. The way I transform old pieces in my closet is by adding fresh accessories which I did with this beautiful straw bag I thrifted years ago and my tan color pointed toe mules and bright yellow earrings. I wore this dress to lounge around in the house with a pair of short shorts underneath because it is a very mini dress 😁 If we were going out, I would wear this dress to a backyard BBQ or to go on a lunch date with my friends or family. Happy Thursday Beauties; I hope the weather is beautiful wherever you are because it's been raining steady for over two days in my neck of the woods. The forecast says the rain would end tomorrow and behind the rain comes low temperatures. This weekend the temperature is going to dip to the 40s and that's cold even for this early in fall. This weekend is also the official start of fall so, I can say that fall is definitely here now. It's time to get out all the outer wears; sweaters, jackets, boots, scarves, gloves...you name it 😌 Although I'm excited for fall fashion, I'm not too excited about all the work I have to do in re-organizing my closet. If you do not see any new post on here in the next few days, just know that I am busy somewhere in my closet 😂

Shoe Lovin' - Ann Taylor Blue Satin block heel Sandals

I froze for a second when I saw this cobalt blue satin bow Mules online. It's so beautiful and the combination of the blue with the brown heels is such a beautiful contrast. This is the exact example of what we call "Statement Shoes." And you know mules are trending this season so this is definitely a trendy pair. Ann Taylor is the designer of this beautiful pair and I must say that this is their best shoe design yet and this is because I have browsed the Ann Taylor shoe collections from previous years and this one really stands out. The shoe that is the topic of our shoe loving' post today is this Gianvito Rossi pointed toe mule pumps in white color. The pumps are super chic and edgy and can take any casual outfit to a high level of classy. It can be worn with dresses, skirts or denim and the white color stands out in a very good way. This design or shoe trend is super popular this summer and somewhat mimics the white boots trend we had last winter. Summer's popular dress style

Happy Thursday ladies; I hope you are having as much fun as I am at least when it comes to the weather. We have short summers here in Minnesota so the aim is always to enjoy the sun and everyday as much as we can. I guess every lady already knows and owns at least one of Summer's popular dresses because they need no introduction. Since the off-the-shoulder dress or cold shoulder dresses started trending three or two summers ago, they have not left the fashion scene and that makes me think they are going to be around much longer. I purchased this particular dress from Loft last summer and it was the vibrant colors of the florals that drew me in. I also got a pair of culottes in the same print. I styled the dress with a straw bag which really is the number one summer bag, a pair of sunnies because we've got to protect those eyes and a pair of black mules and a straw hat which are all summer's essential accessories.
