Shoe Lovin' - Square toe Satin Loafers
LOFT Fashion Rental
ᔑustainable fashion is gaining more recognition and several retail stores are making adjustments in how their fashion is made or sold in order to cater to the needs of their customers who crave sustainability in fashion. Not every one is interested in fast fashion anymore; most consumers are looking into ways they can get more buck for their dollars. This might be the reason that clothing or fashion rental (a form of sustainable fashion) is catching on. A new store that just got into this trend is LOFT. The fashion retail store has a new fashion rental service that is somewhat similar to that of Rent the Runway. Loft is, and has always been one of my favorite stores especially for work attire and I was very happy to learn about this new service and decided to share the news on the blog. If you are interested in knowing more about this service, check it out here.
Camel Coat + My favorite Winter Accessory
ᒣhis is another one of my favorite coats to wear in the winter time, this camel long coat. Camel coat is just another classic or winter essential every lady should have in their closet. There are so many cheaper and more affordable options these days at fashion retail stores like Asos and Zara. I got this from a consignment store about seven or eight years ago well before camel coats became a huge trend. You can get more information on my previous post. If you still need a camel coat at this time, consider checking the end of season sale around March and April.
Winter Casual Style: Long green coat + square toe boots
ᒣhe weather in Minnesota pretty much dictates much of what goes on around here especially your wardrobe. If you love fashion and care about how you present yourself, then you have to have a solid winter wardrobe if you live in this city. And a solid winter wardrobe includes two or more winter coats and boots and sweaters. These pieces can cost a lot if you want really good quality but I have a tip for you if you want to go shopping for winter attire; try consignment or thrift shopping. This tip is not a secret to anyone anymore and definitely not a secret to any reader of this blog.

Winter Shopping List
ᒎ know winter is almost over and spring is around the corner but for me, the two seasons kind of merge as one because we do get snow in my state till April. So, it's not too late to do a winter wish list. I love to plan and list my needed items some place where I can see them and I love making the list as colorful and fun as I can. For this season, I need a colorful puffy coat preferably a red color one because the color is so fun and bold. Puffy coats are also a big trend this season and we would see the trend even into the spring season. Combat boots is another huge trend this season and a very functional one at that. If you are in need of a cute affordable pair, check out this stylish pair at DSW.

Shopping my Closet for Winter Staples: Sweater Dress + Riding Boots
ᘺhen you live in a cold and snowy state like I do, you'll agree with me that the long dreary winter can get to you sometimes; like, hey! I'm tired of wearing pants and coats! In Minnesota here, we are still in the deep of winter with lots of snow and when I get tired of wearing my big coats, I reach for a thick sweater dress and knee high boots like I did here. I have had this dark charcoal sweater dress for years and it comes into heavy rotation in the winter time. The Colin Stuart knee boots are old too; purchased over eight years ago from the Victoria's Secret Catalog. The elastic belt is from J Crew and the bag is a thrifted piece from a thrift and consignment store in my neighborhood. I like how the bag mimics the current pouch trend and since my bag costs less than $20, it's a win, win. If you like to wear sweater dresses in the winter too, check out the shopping links below for different selections and thanks so much for stopping by...😀

Grey Monochrome Outfit and the secret to staying happy
ᖾappy Monday Friends; I hope you had an awesome weekend and if you are in the United States, happy Presidents's day. Schools are closed today and some employees get today off as a holiday and this means an extra day to get things done or laze around. I'm glad my kids do not have school today and I look forward to enjoying the day with my family. I wore this monochrome outfit to church a few weeks ago; the grey bodysuit tee paired with this ruffle tiered maxi skirt.

Lavender Pantsuit and living each day with great intention.
Շan you believe it is already February, the second month of the new year? This year is surely going by so fast already and so much has happened in just a short while; so, so much! The threat of wars, corona virus epidemic, planes and helicopter crashes and the death of Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna and the death of their friends all on the same day. Now, that inident really shook me! I was a big fan of Kobe because I enjoy watching basket ball games; my favorite sport. I pray that God continues to comfort the families and friends of all the victims. This is the reason why I chose the topic of my Blog Post today; living each day with great intention...

Spring Fashion Trends: Neon and Leather
Էhere are so many fashion trends I am interested in this season and top on my list is the neon and leather trend. Leather pieces add texture and interest to a lady's wardrobe and if you are not sure of how to incorporate leather pieces into your style, you can start by getting a leather jacket. However, the leather trend this season is more of colorful leather pieces; skirts, pants, dresses and even suits. The fashion collage above pairs the two trends together to achieve an effortless look that is great for any casual outing. If you want, you can swap the leather pants for a leather pencil or A-line skirt and you will still achieve the same cool look. Happy viewing, happy styling...
Shoe Lovin.' - Combat Boots
ᕦombat boots have been trending for a while now and I presumed it was just going to be a passing but was I wrong! The shoe trend is still going strong this winter. This trend has a lot to do with function now more than style especially in this winter season. It is the best kind of boots to wear in this snowy, cold weather in my neck of the woods. As always, I had to look out for a cute, affordable pair that has good quality at the same time and I found this faux snake print pair at DSW. The boots has just enough details; buckles, zipper and lace to make it look interesting without being overwhelming. If you are interested in this trend and this particular boots, check it out.
