     What a unique year it has been and I bet everyone is eagerly waiting for the last day of the year to roll by. In as much as I want the year to roll away, I definitely do not want to do away with Christmas. Christmas season is just my favorite time of the year and my favorite holiday. I would still be celebrating this year but would be celebrating safely. So, there would be no Christmas parties this year just family celebration at home.  To get into the Christmas spirit, I'm doing most of my Christmas tradition which includes decorating the house and buying of gifts for loved ones. Smocked, tiered and a crop top

 

       ऽummer is a time to wear easy, breezy dresses like this tiered, smocked embroidered dress that I  have had in my closet for a long time. I purchased it from a friend years ago that had a small clothing/accessories business. You can always find dresses like this in the stores in the summer time and they have been trending somewhat along with baby doll dresses this summer thanks to H&M. The dress is a strapless dress and since I needed some cover on my shoulders, I threw a small crop top over it. My tan color pouch bag and square toed mules completed the look. Summer is almost over as we know so this brown color is suitable for this sunny weather that is gradually coming to an end. Lounge at Home Outfit: Summer Shirt Dress

 

     ϻy lounge at home outfit this summer has been comfy, breezy dresses; linen and cotton dresses to be exact. I know knit dresses and sets are trending at the moment but if it is sunny and hot out, I would settle for a cotton or linen dress over knits. Plus, I get to wear knits a lot in the Fall and Winter time so it is nice to wear something more comfortable even if it is not trending. This lavender color J. Jill Dress fits the bill for comfort and style. It is 100% cotton and the shirt dress design and bold lavender color enhances the style. I decided to style a monochromatic look by pairing the dress with this purple square toed mules and multi color statement Earrings. How are you lounging at home? Please, be safe and well. My Wish-List for Mother's Day

               𐌼y Mother's Day wish List this year can also be a Gift Guide for you if you need some inspiration on what to get the young ladies/Mothers in your life. Gift giving is the main way we would all be celebrating this year as we practice social distancing and stay home under quarantine. First on my list is this puff-sleeved pink cotton dress from H&M. It is a lounging outfit that is comfy enough to wear while eating take-out at home with our close family and it would also make a great outfit paired with this color-block strappy sandals when it is finally time to socialize with others again. Face masks are very essential accessories right now and would make great gifts for family and friends. 

Winter Casual Style: Long green coat + square toe boots

              ᒣhe weather in Minnesota pretty much dictates much of what goes on around here especially your wardrobe. If you love fashion and care about how you present yourself, then you have to have a solid winter wardrobe if you live in this city. And a solid winter wardrobe includes two or more winter coats and boots and sweaters. These pieces can cost a lot if you want really good quality but I have a tip for you if you want to go shopping for winter attire; try consignment or thrift shopping. This tip is not a secret to anyone anymore and definitely not a secret to any reader of this blog.
