Some argue that the color is not meant for every skin tone and I say it depends on how you style it. I have added lots of purple color pieces to my closet in the last couple of months and I look forward to styling them piece by piece on the blog.         ᔑo the weather has been very nice in Minnesota lately but this is not going to be for long because we are expecting a snow storm Thanksgiving week according to the Weather Report. I'm really looking forward to the Thanksgiving break; snow or no snow. The Thanksgiving Holiday is the official kick off to the holiday season but I also never lose sight of the fact that everyday should be Thanksgiving. A grateful heart opens the way for more blessings.

Fall Wish List

As seasons change it is important to update and refresh our wardrobe and this can be done by closet editing (donating old pieces and restyling basic essentials) and also revamping of wardrobes (the addition of new affordable pieces) I do this exercise at the beginning of every season by looking at the current trends and deciding on which pieces to add to my closet and what pieces to pass on.

Veering into Vintage

⺄t's been a while on here; it's been ages...haha! 😆 How has everyone been? Did anyone think for a minute that I was done with fashion blogging? I hope not! 😂 It's exactly four months and a few days since I published a blog post. I have been so busy behind the scenes. I had a very beautiful summer which culminated in a four day trip to Disney Land with the hubby and kiddos on the last week of summer, days before labor day.

What to wear to a Summer Wedding

Summer weddings are very fun and colorful and dressing up for one should be a breeze; think colorful dresses in florals or solid colors and fun accessories. I attended a Marriage Anniversary/Vow Renewal on Saturday and it was my first wedding event of the season; I usually attend a couple of weddings every year (no pun intended with *couple* 😊) It was a beautiful outdoor/garden ceremony with lots of beautiful guests and the reception was indoors. My next wedding invitation is scheduled for early fall so the outfit for that would definitely have a different vibe and color scheme. I cannot express how much I love weddings; they are always so beautiful and special; big or small.

Stripes for July 4th

Happy 4th of July! This is one of the favorite holidays of many because they are able to gather with friends and family or go on a nice vacation to somewhere beautiful. There is lots of eating; barbeques, grilling and fun activities associated with this holiday and then, there is the fashion. The July 4th holiday is one of the holidays that have themed fashion associated with it like wearing red, white and blue colors or wearing stripes.
