             թ urple is my favorite color and I cannot describe the level of confidence, joy and excitement that I feel whenever I wear the color purple. it's such a beautiful and regal color in my opinion. Some argue that the color is not meant for every skin tone and I say it depends on how you style it. I have added lots of purple color pieces to my closet in the last couple of months and I look forward to styling them piece by piece on the blog. Grey Monochrome Styling: Long Coat + Clear Bag

Happy Monday everyone; this another monochrome styling on the blog today just like the one I did here. This time, I'm doing an all grey monochromatic look that is suitable to wear to work any day this season. I know it is spring already but it is still cold here; cold enough to keep putting on layers. Here, I wore a grey color turtle neck sweater over grey color pants and this pants are really comfy; an old purchase from Macy's. The statement piece in this outfit is this long grey coat which I donned on more for style than for warmth because I was already dressed warm with the sweater. And as usual, this is one of the coats I got from the consignment store. It is a pre-owned 100% wool coat that would sell for hundreds of dollars new, at the retail store but I got it for less than a hundred bucks. This plaid transparent bag tote that I blogged about here completed the look along with this V-style  slip on booties. This look is suitable for work and any other formal event on a very cold day. Throwback to Summer: White button Shirt + Blue Denim Shorts

I love Thursdays especially when I get to throw back to beautiful summer weather. This is an outfit I wore during the summer; a typical summer outfit; a white button down shirt, blue denim shorts and a pair of mules which in this case is satin bow mules previously blogged about here. I love the cobalt blue color of the mules because it elevates the outfit by infusing a rich pop of color. This outfit is also styled based on the outfit inspiration mood board I blogged about here. I also love the translucent bag I was wearing with this outfit and it is a bag I am planning on taking with me everywhere this winter because it is made of PVC material and water friendly. I'm not going to be bothered when carrying this bag around on wet snowy days. And speaking of the weather, it is starting to get very cold here in Minnesota. After four days of constant rain, we woke up to very cold temperatures this morning and carpet of leaves on the yards and streets because the wind shook the dead leaves of the trees; so much clean up for us to do this weekend.
