Button-up shirts are a huge trend this summer and color blocking is the most common styling option I have seen with this piece. If you look hard enough in your closet, I am sure you will find a couple of button-up shirts in there because it is a piece, we have all been wearing probably not to the extent we are wearing them this summer.
My summer style includes lots of dresses which are usually easy to wear and easy to style. My dress that I am wearing in this post was purchased from Boohoo a couple of summers ago. I styled it with a pair of black square toed sandals from Ego Shoes, an online shoe store that sells a lot of inspired dupes and variations of luxury shoes. It's no secret that I love pantsuits and blazers. I just love the versatility in styling and wear. I like that pantsuits can be worn as one outfit, the blazer can be paired with other pieces and the pant can be styled with other pieces in my closet too. So, you always save a lot of money when you buy a two piece suit especially if you love corporate style.

I have always loved lace dresses and I think I love them mostly for the texture they bring to a lady's wardrobe. The styling of a lace dress is also very versatile. You can wear as is or you can throw a blazer over them too. Lace dresses are also great to wear to weddings or special events like dinners or baby showers. I got this red lace dress from Lulus years ago and it's still one of my favorite lace dresses. I have always loved purple and have added so many pieces into my wardrobe over the years. Now, it's all about mixing amd matching my pieces and accessories.
So, I got this knit dress from Lulus last fall and I really love it. It's soft and comfotable and I love the midi length. It has about three or four rows of buttons at the back that is not featured in these photos. My only problem with the dress is that it is lighter in color than I thought. The pictures on the website showed it as a darker brown color on the model.
Ⴒuffy sleeves look like a trend that would be around for a long long time and I'm not complaining. I love how stylish and modest the trend is. And like every other trend we are seeing these days, there is nothing new about this style or this trend; it's just a recycled trend from season's past and that's okay. This wine color dress is an old purchase from Loft; from two or three years ago. I love the color, the waist ties and the lace inserts on the sleeves. Certainly, the time has come to tone down the colors for the season and my favorite colors for fall are browns, beige, burgundy, orange and purple. Ꮴacation is a very essential part of self care and mental health for everyone because we can take deep breaths and recharge while on vacation. Things are a lot different this year for everyone; no travel, no vacation. Usually at this time of the year, my family would have had one or two vacation. Last year, we ended our summer by taking a trip to Disney World in Florida and visited beaches in Clearwater and Tampa. The kids still talk about the trip because it was so much fun. We were hoping to have another fun vacation this year but have not been able to. Families everywhere are experiencing the same thing this year and some are planning to take road trips or have taken road trips because flying is not really safe right now. I believe every family should evaluate all the risks before they embark on activities outside of their home at this time.
