Last time, I styled it for fall and this time, I styled it for summer just by changing out the accessories. I cinched my waist with a clear belt and added blue color accessories for some color blocking style and by the way, color blocking is back on trend.
I have always loved lace dresses and I think I love them mostly for the texture they bring to a lady's wardrobe. The styling of a lace dress is also very versatile. You can wear as is or you can throw a blazer over them too. Lace dresses are also great to wear to weddings or special events like dinners or baby showers. I got this red lace dress from Lulus years ago and it's still one of my favorite lace dresses. Ᏸaby doll dresses "was" a big trend this summer and I think it's partly due to their versatility. The dresses are casual enough to wear as lounge wear and they can also be dressed up with the use of accessories like belts and blazers. I purchased this orange color dress from H&M over the summer and this is how I styled it. The multi color strap sandals are from DSW while my floral bag is from Etsy. The bag is made from African fabric called "Ankara" or "Kente" and it adds a certain flair or vibe to an outfit. You can get them in different styles and colors on the Etsy Website and remember that when you buy from small businesses on Etsy, you support someone's dream and provide income for families and households directly as opposed to supporting big corporations.
