How to create a no fuss all black Outfit for the Holiday

t's a few days to Christmas and the new year and this is not the time to be running around trying to find yourself an outfit to wear to a Christmas holiday event. The holiday is a time to be merry and a time to be with family and friends so, do not sweat anything if you do not have an outfit figured out yet; just take a deep breath and relax. At times when you are in need of a quick outfit and do not have any outfit in mind, just do the default outfit; all black. An all black outfit is very safe for any event. To make it holiday ready, think sequins, tulle and velvet

For the outfits in this post which are throw backs of my past holiday looks blogged about here and here, I just tucked in a sequin dress into black bottoms; a black pencil skirt in the first picture which I pulled up high on the waist to mimic an empire waist dress and similar styling on the second outfit too where I tucked the dress into a tulle skirt. The weather is usually very, very cold at this time of the year in Minneapolis where I live so it was important to be fully covered hence the stockings and boots. If you are trying to put a holiday outfit together last minute and you do not have separates like these sequin dress, tulle skirt or velvet tops, just get a little black dress and accessorize it with sparkly accessories. Happy reading and happy styling.
