Shoe Lovin': Cow print Mules

 

     Mules are back on trend and I mean mules, as in old school mules or nineties mules. I saw this cow print mules online and loved it right away. It is a unique twist on the mule trend with the very unique prints. I have always loved calf prints because it's so unique.     Green is low key one of my favorite colors and it's one reason why this knit dress is still in my closet. I have had it for years and wear it on repeat at this time of the year; the spring season. Hey! ladies, there is nothing wrong with wearing your outfits/pieces over and over again.      Hello dear,  how are you doing today? I hope great. Are you ready for spring yet? Have you organized your pastels, pantsuits, dresses and shorts yet? It is transitional dressing for me at this time so I still need my coats because you know where I live....our temps is still very high over here in Minnesota so a jacket is still needed especially in the mornings and evenings.

Styling colored boots: Green

     Colored boots are my thing now. After I realized I had a lot of neutrals; brown and black and grey boots in my closet, I decided to add more colors and prints. However, I know colored boots can be a challenge to style (it depends on the color anyway) so, I practiced by putting looks together virtually.  Check out the first colored boots styling here.

   Who is looking forward to spring? I am! 😀 I am so looking forward to warmer temperatures. Thankfully, the snow has melted a bit in my neighborhood  except for some patches here and there and it don't look like we are getting any more snow any time soon; time to put the long coats away. Haha! 

I am starting to think I'll have to rent a storage space for my winter coats because my storage room at home is already full or probably it's time to start selling some of them off on pre-loved sites. Anywhoo, this piece here is not going anywhere in a long time cos' I intend to hang onto it for as long as I can; definitely one of my favorite coats!

Purple trench coat + My nine years blog Anniversary

 

     Nine years ago today, I started this little blog of mine! It's so hard to believe that it's been nine years of writing and posting pictures on here. Blogging is a whole lot different now; not as fun as it used to be. Now, everything is different with numbers,  numbers and monetization but I'm glad I'm still here and loving it.

     One of my favorite fashion essentials in the cold winter months aside from boots is a long winter coat. I talk about winter coats a lot on this blog and have given tips on how to get good deals on them. This long brown coat is one of my favorites to wear in the fall and winter months because the color goes with all my neutral pieces or animal prints outfits.

     Valentine's day has a beautiful meaning and intention behind it; LOVE. The celebration of LOVE is always a good thing. However, I do not celebrate valentine's day because the holiday is greatly commercialized and does not have an impactful meaning at the end of the day. The real reason for the celebration is lost in the hustle and bustle of trying to make everything perfect by spending so much money and unnecessary funds on that one special day. At the end of the day, it is the businesses; the florists, the restaurants that get the most benefits from the holiday.
