The thong Sandal trend

   Finally, Summer is over and Fall is here. Are you done getting your fall wardrobe together? When it comes to footwear, there are so many shoe trends at the moment and the trendiest shoe is definitely the ballet flats and kitten heels. However, the underrated shoe trend this season is the thong sandal. The thong sandal or flip-flops is typically a summer/vacation/beach footwear; it has however crept into everyday fashion. 

My Favorite color to style this Season

       

       One of my favorite colors to style this summer is light blue color and it is gradually becoming my favorite color I think? If you have read my blog long enough, you would know that I love the color purple; it is actually my favorite color, then I also love red and green colors. Light blue or powder blue is slowly becoming my new favorite color and it started with this blue midi knit dress I wore here. Then I started to introduce the color into my wardrobe by using accessories.

The "Stripes" is the print of the season

 

         Happy first day of summer! I hope you are having a great time and enjoying yourself. Have you noticed the "stripe fashion trend" everywhere on the fashion streets of the internet? The striped cardigan was a huge trend last fall and it is still going strong. You can style it for summer by wearing it over a white tee or tank top and pairing it with a light fabric wide leg pants or a midi skirt or pair of shorts. Complete the look with a pair of sunglasses and cute shoes and a bag and you are good to go. Happy viewing, happy styling 😎

        Red is the color of the season and it is not just because of the Christmas holiday. This vibrant hue can be seen everywhere in the stores and on the gram and on every fashionista; red outfits and accessories are everywhere. If you have never thought much of styling this color, this is the reason to give this beautiful hue a try. There is a shade of red for every complexion. And if you do not want to put on a full red outfit, red accessories would make any outfit pop. Happy styling...

        Pink is a color that has been trending for a while now and if you are a lover of color and you love pink and would love some outfit inspiration on how to style this color, this post is for you! Wedding Style: Floral Dress + clear belt

 

Wedding season is here; summer weddings, that is and one of my favorite piece to wear to weddings and bridal events is a dress. In this post, I restyled this bold floral dress previously styled here into a shorter dress with the use of rubber bands which I used to make loops around the waist then I tucked the dress over the loops and cinched a clear belt over it. 

Why go through the trouble? you might ask...Well, it's all for fun. It's so much fun when I am able to restyle pieces from my closet for different occasions. A white pair of sandals, sunglasses and red statement earrings completed the look. I hope to do more restyling from my closet henceforth. Thanks so much for reading.

             ꚁs we all know, Summer is around the corner; and there are end of season sales going on in the stores. If you are looking to update one or two pieces in your wardrobe, now is the time to do that. Target is having a Jewelry sale presently and these are some of my picks; very simple but unique pieces that would add some color to your outfit or elevate the style.
