Sleeves Week - Style boards

Still on the matter of dramatic sleeves; need some help styling this trend for work or play, Monday through Friday? Look no further as these style boards would give you great ideas. There are so many options to choose from that you can have a different kind of dramatic sleeve for every day of the week. How about doing tie-sleeves and a pleated skirt for Monday? which is a very formal look and gradually building the drama for the week with a ruched sleeves for Tuesday and balloon sleeves for mid-week?

Spring Trend: Dramatic Sleeves

Just when we thought we have had enough of "off -the-shoulder" and "cold shoulder tops;" the drama around ladies necklines and sleeves continues. Spring 2017 trends showcase ruffle sleeves, bell sleeves, trumpet sleeves; it's all about drama! drama!! drama!!! What say you? "Yay or Nay?"

Happy Wednesday Friends; I hope your week is going great; spring is just around the corner; time to get out the colors. Hot pink is a color that is trending now and I decided to pair this old thrifted blazer that has been in my closet for a while with this white cropped denim pants from Loft. Pink can be paired beautifully with black, white, blue, emerald and a few other colors. Pink and white screams spring to me

Happy Tuesday Friends; just a short post today to celebrate the warm weather; it's like having summer in the middle of Winter. The weather today is 50* degree plus which actually is summer weather in Minnesota. We are so used to our cold and frigid weather and below zero temperatures in Minnesota that any double digits temperature is regarded as great weather. What better way to celebrate the beautiful weather than to wear culottes?


This tailored and structured one is actually very great for work. And again, what better way to wear a pair of culottes other than pairing it with great high stilettos? This helps to formalize the look and to elongate the legs. Culottes are actually not work friendly in a corporate work environment but if you work in a less formal office environment or your own office/ business, go for it. The denim culottes is another option for casual wear and Spring 2017 is going to showcase the culottes for both work and play. What are your thoughts on culottes? Yay or Nay?
