Suede Blazer and Denim
These pictures have been saved in my archives for weeks and there are many others from last summer that are saved in my archives too. I figure I'll be doing some house keeping on the blog and doing some marathon posting from now on. It was starting to warm up a little on the day I took these pictures and it felt quite good to give my feet a break from the stockings and boots I wore all winter. It was also the first time I wore these BCBG d'orsay pumps I ordered from DSW last fall. The "prints" is very beautiful and different from my other pairs of leopard print pumps. I definitely would wear this pair out this summer.

Do you like leopard print pumps? I know leopard prints accessories are not trending right now but they are definitely good neutrals to have in the closet.

Black trench coat and color blocking
It's April; woot! woot!! Summer is almost here. I am very sure this is the most color I ever wore in an outfit during the spring season; usually at this time of the year, we are still bundled up in dark grey heavy coats and snow boots in Minnesota but the weather has been so good to us this year. It was very sunny when I took these pictures on my porch and I actually needed sun glasses. I do not like the way I frown when the sun gets in my eyes..lol. I know it is time to rummage in the closets to get out the sunglasses. Summer is around the corner "Yay!!"

What accessory are you digging out of your closet for the summer? We all do need sunnies for sure and probably some sun lotion too if you plan on spending a lot of time outside. I can't wait for summer to get here..lol

Shoe Lovin'
BCBG Generation D'Orsay Leopard Print Pumps
I have been making preparations for the upcoming weather and shopping has been a huge part of my preparation. I updated the kids wardrobe for school and threw in some cute little things here and there for myself too...lol. This leopard print d'orsay pumps from BCBG is a recent addition to my shoe closet. I just can't get enough of leopard prints. It might seem like stripes have taken over leopard prints for the moment but I think leopard prints will make a full comeback again soon.

I look forward to styling this pair this fall although I know my feet might suffer from the cold a little because boots and booties are the best shoe choices for the season. If you are interested in getting a pair, check them out. I love you so much for stopping by here.

The Grand Finale
This weekend was so much fun; my siblings came over to Minnesota from out of state for the Fourth of July Celebrations and it was nice seeing my nephews and nieces again. After a series of barbecues including one at the lake side and the fireworks finale last night, I am pretty much exhausted. No, I did not wear this short suit to church today; I changed into this outfit when I got back from church. I decided to pair this distressed graphic tee I purchased from Forever 21 a couple of summers ago with the red shorts and as always, the jacket and shorts are separates (from different stores) but I purchased a grey pant suit and a yellow short suit as a two piece recently it felt quite odd when I was making the purchase. I have always enjoyed putting together a suit by mixing and matching pieces from different stores. Check out my previous post here.
This BCBG Paris d'orsay pumps has been in my closet for a while and I just like the prints. They are currently on sale at DSW. Would you consider having a pant suit as part of your suit collection? They are very fun to wear especially in the summer time and they can be worn just about anywhere depending on the type of tank top or camisole worn underneath. I figured wearing this red suit was a nice way to end the great celebration of the Fourth of July weekend.

A little leather and leopard prints
Hi friends, I hope everyone is doing great; so hard to believe that its Monday again. I'm still so tired from having a busy weekend but I wanted to quickly do this outfit post before getting my much needed sleep. I have some outfit posts I have scheduled for this month and I want to post them all before the last day of October which is my birthday. Woot! Woot!! So, I'm on to some marathon posting...:-). Maybe one post everyday?
If you check my blog archive for previous years, you will find out that I always like to do a lot of postings in October. I don't even have a clear reason for doing it except for the fact that I just want everything to be great on the blog and it will not be great if I look back and find out that I didn't do too good with my postings on my birthday month. Type A personality without the anger and fraustration??? Well, pardon my ramblings, I'm just having fun because you must know that I really love blogging by now...:-).

No, my head does not hurt, I'm just trying to strike a cool pose...:-).
So, I'm leaving you with this little number; a faux leather sheath dress with one of my favorite prints and a bold pop of tangerine color. Something to spice up our color senses for the new week...:-).
Have a great night my friends and watch out for my GIVEAWAY post. You can see the preview in my previous post.
