Corn Fest Outfit
Just got done doing my chores for the day and getting ready for bed and giving side glances to the TV at the same time. The Emmys is going on right now but I do not plan to stay up for it; I need my beauty sleep; quite a funny show though...:-).
I wore this outfit to my city's corn fest recently and might post the full post soon. I'm also working on my quarter blog summary. A very big thanks to all who stop by to share this space with me. I love to write and I love to share my views and opinion and I am so glad that you take a minute out of your time to read my posts. Thanks so much. I love you.

What I want for Fall
Saint Joseph New American Bible (Gift Edition)
rosarymart.com
What I want for Fall
1. The Bible:
My bible is definitely one item I have to have with me at all times; thanks to the Logos App on my phone. However, I need to purchase a new Bible in print form because it's been a while since I purchased my last one and it's starting to look worn. Now, I can't be wearing cute shoes on my feet to church and carrying an old, worn bible...:-). Times are hard and strange these days and God's word is the only thing that can make a difference in the world we live in. Just look at it; Ebola, Gaza, Ukraine, Hamas, Israel, Ferguson; unless you have been living in a remote deserted island and of which I would say "welcome back from your vacation!," you will agree with me that there is a lot going on in the world right now which aint't pretty. I say again with deep conviction that only God can make the difference. He alone heals all wounds and gives joy and blessings to the needy. Studying his word every day and praying to him is the key to unlock all doors. So, please, the bible is an essential tool or accessory for all time.
2. Faux Fur Snood:
The faux fur snood is not only stylish but also gives warmth and can come really useful in those early mornings or evenings when the fall weather seems to be at its best.
3. Stripped Knit Tee:
Stripes are definitely trending right now and they give some sort of edge to any outfit. Any color stripe would do but the black and white lines seem to be more eye catchy. It also acts as a sort of neutral piece these days as it can go with any other color or any fashion piece.
4. Khaki Trench Coat:
The Khaki trench coat never left the scene and can be worn all year round but I would say it is most appropriate for the fall and spring seasons. In the winter time, a heavier jacket is an essential. However some trench coats are heavy and well layered and can be great for winter too.
5. Open Toe booties:
This gives a nice transition from the summer to the fall season. It shows that you are aware that the weather is changing and getting colder and that you are ready to deal with it in style...:-). They come in various designs ranging from lace-ups to buckles and straps and can also be cute as plain open toe booties. The heels also vary too. They can be stiletto heels or block heels. They can also be high heeled, mid heeled or flats.
6. Cross body bag:
The cross body bag like the trench coat has always been there and does not seem to be going anywhere. They can also make a great fashion statement when they are in a nice punch of color. For mothers with young kids, the cross body bag is an essential bag. You can have all your knick-knacks stowed away and still have two hands free to multi task around the little ones. I think every student should own one too. When you must take those stack of books to the library or class and you want to look cool doing so, the cross body bag or messenger bag like some people call it, is very essential.
7. Loafers:
Loafers, brogues and all kinds of flats are trending this fall which seem to suggest that fall fashion might be laid back.
8. Stripped Skirt:
The stripped skirt is playing to the theme of "anything Stripes" and they can be bold stripes or thin stripes. It does not matter the width or length of the stripes, the visual interest is what is important. Stripped pieces just make a wardrobe fun.
9. Denim Jacket:
This piece is again just like its counter part; trench coat and cross body bag. They are basic wardrobe essentials. The denim jacket is great for layering and in fall, that is what dressing is all about.
10. Strappy Sandals:
The "strappy sandals" are a great trend this summer and they would continue into fall. They come in pretty colors with gold or silver buckle accents and they give a cool edge to an outfit.
11. Cape Jacket.
Fall jackets are going to be more fun these fall with boleros and cape jackets taking over the scene. The important thing is looking well put together and presentable. The cape jacket does not have to be expensive but it just has to be fun.
So that's my list for fall/autumn. You can check out my previous summer list here.

Color Block in the Park and Playing Tagged...
Hi, I am back with another post which is long overdue by the way...:-). I was tagged by my lovely blogger friend Nerline a few weeks back in the very inspiring blogger award. My appreciation and love goes out to Nerline who makes blogging so much fun by lending her support, comments and view on almost every post I publish. Thanks so much Nerline. **Muah!!**Kisses**
I wore this colorful outfit to a playdate with one of my friends over the weekend. We took the kids to a very cool park in a different city from where we live. The park had a splash pad and we had so much fun. We chatted about fun stuff while the kids splashed around and played in the park. I usually do not dress this bright and colorful when I am around kids but I decided to just have fun and go all out with the color. My old pink tee and this lime color loft skirt which I actually wore for the first time since it was purchased two summers ago made the cut. The cute straw messenger bag is a gift from my older sister and I really love it.
Now, let's go straight to the nomination.

Rules
Thanks again to Nerline for nominating me.
I had to think for a long time on what seven facts to share about myself since I have done several tagged posts already; Liebster, Versatile..to name a few. I think I have said all that needs to be said about me...:-). I didn't have the time to search through my blog archives to link all the other tagged posts incase you want to read them and I did not want to keep this post waiting for too long so, I decided to say some things that are a little personal which I feel I have not shared before and here it goes...:-). And I will try to keep it as short as possible; you all know I love to write long essays by now, right?...:-)
1. My real name is Beauty (like you don't know by now?..:-))**eyes rolling**...LoL!
2. My favorite number is 7 (just like Nerline...:-) and my favorite letter is A. Now, don't ask me why unless you want me to start quoting scriptures again...:-)
3. My number one fashion accessory are shoes, then, scarves
4. My number one beauty product is the lip gloss.
5. Growing up, I used to be very quiet and shy but now? **clears throat**you don't want to know! LoL
6. I used braces in my younger years and so did all my siblings. **blame it on genetics**
7. I have nothing against cosmetic surgery and enhancements so long as it is needed and done in moderation. **Now, don't ask me if I have had any work done because I haven't...:-). I rather spend my money buying shoes...LoL!!!
So, there you have it. I was not able to put up cute pictures for every answer like Nerline did...:-). Do stop by her blog to check it out. I'm following her blog already and I enjoy all the information she gives on hair and fashion.
I didn't have the time to nominate other blogs and I feel like I have nominated all my blogger friends already in previous nominations. So, if you want to be tagged, let me know in a comment.

Blue and Orange
Hi Friends, we are having an amazing summer so far in MN and I feel sad that it'll soon come to an end. We never experienced those hot, sticky, humid, sunny days like we did last year and that's good. The outfit I featured in this blog post here is what I wore to the birthday party my friend threw for her son a while back. It was a hot day but not too hot for a long sleeve shirt. I decided to go colorful and the mix of orange and blue appealed to me. This faux fur animal print bag was DIYed by me and you can see that it still got some uneven trims or edges. I'll work on it again and make it look more even and would try to do a post around it.
Do you recognize this blue sandal from a previous blog post I did here? Well, I promised myself not to buy any more blue shoes than was needed and I broke my promise to myself. The sandals have been in the closet for months and I just wore it for the first time on the day of the party. Do you see why I keep saying that Jesus loves me no matter what?..:-). I might fall anytime but I'm comforted in the knowledge that I will not stay down. God would always lift me up. I didn't intend to succumb to my blue shoes craving but I did. Well, you might wonder why I'm so apologetic? eemmm**clears throat,** I'll try to keep every promise I make next time because I feel so bad that I broke one. No more blue color shoes...:-). I still feel like I want to ask the question again though; "do you do blue shoes and if you do, how much (how many) blues do you do? Check out the previous blog post here.

Green and Polka Dots
Hi everyone, I hope we all had a great weekend. Mine was super eventful; details later..:-). I chose to wear this emerald green cropped pants blogged about here today and I must say I got quite a surprise. The last time I wore them, they were cropped pants and had a nice fit but today, they became all baggy. You know that's good right? That means "yours Sincerely" is losing some weight!..:-). And also, I think I purchased the pants during my first trimester last year and they fit perfectly then. Another reason could also be that the pants ran higher than the usual size. I didn't want to change them out today for something else because I was just captivated by the cool green color and soft fabric but I know it's definitely going for some alteration.
I debated about just wearing a plain black blouse over it then opted for this sheer polka dots blouse. The green vintage necklace which the pictures didn't do justice completed the look. My butterfly ring was a last minute add-on and I have no idea why I slipped it on but it sure took my mind way back. My butterfly ring has been with me since my early days of blogging and it's still here; ever faithful. I lost it a couple of times and recovered it each time somehow. It is very similar to my relationship with God. No matter how far away I wander, he's always there waiting with open arms. He's ever ready to listen and always quick to forgive anyone.

Have a great and productive week. I'll be back with more posts this week cos I'm just itching to share. I'm a "blogerholic" remember? I know there is no word like that but well, you read or heard it first here...:-)

It's a Skirt; No, it's a pair of pants; No, it's denim on denim.

Hi Friends; I feel so excited sharing this post because I am so happy and relaxed. I had a very entertaining time with my kids this evening and this whole blog post was a family collaboration. I got back from work today and wanted to take the kids to the park but was a little tired so I decided to just spend some time with them outdoors. When I was looking for something casual and comfy to wear, I thought "why not do a denim on denim look?"
I reached for this old skirt of mine which I really think is the statement piece in the whole outfit. My girls; five and three helped me to choose the accessories. My older girl picked the necklace while the younger girl picked the shoes (fashionistas in the bud) but they kept staring curiously at my outfit the whole time. "Mum, is this a skort or a skirt?" "Are you wearing Pants or skirt?" I was not so surprised that they were deceived by this skirt and I led them on by keeping the skirt tucked in between my legs and walking awkwardly around the house. You can see from the pictures below that I really did a good job deceiving them and even my seven year old son who is my new photographer (I have retired my tripod) kept asking me? "Mom, are you wearing two kinds of pants?" "What kind of skirt is this?"
I got tired of deceiving them and just burst out laughing and they saw that I was really wearing a skirt...:-). The skirt kind of looked like culottes in the pics above when I tucked them in between my legs but it's actually a very cool denim midi skirt. My other denim shirt that I wore here was a little too dark for the look I was going for so, I used this chambray shirt instead. So, is this the season denim on denim trend? Or, is this just chambray on denim? Chambray, denim, what's the difference? We didn't care so much but we had some fun outdoors with the kids scribbling on the porch and running around and me just excited that they had all provided their valuable input to this blog post.

Stripes…
Hi Lovelies, remember this skirt from here? I would say it is only one of its kind in my closet. I do own a couple of stripe clothing items here and there but nothing as bold as this one. I guess this is what the stylists mean when they say "take a risk with fashion?" Well, I do not like to take risks with anything and that's not what was on my mind when I first saw this skirt on the loft website…:-). I just thought it stood out in a good way.
I hope our week is going great so far. Summer is almost coming to an end and my kids actually go back to school in a few weeks then labor day holiday is just around the corner and thanksgiving holiday is approaching too. I'm already in thanksgiving mode though. So, much to thank God for. There are lots of ugly stuff going on in the world right now and if you are alive, healthy and safe, you just have to give God praise. We also have to pray for those affected by all the catastrophe too; epidemic, war, economic stability..I wish everyone the best for the rest of the week. Thanks so much for stopping by here. Your visit, interaction and contribution makes blogging so much fun. See you soon.

LOFT Sale..
Anyway, back to the current sale going on at LOFT…:-). I stopped by at the store a few days ago after getting the e-mail alert of the 60% sale. Can I say too that I love window shopping?…:-). I do stop by at the mall sometimes alone and just stroll through my favorite stores. That will be a blog post for another day. So, I stopped by at the store and took a look around and chatted with the friendly associates. Let's not go into details of how the conversation ended but below are my favorite picks from the discounted clothing items…:-).
