Red long Pants and long black Coat

Happy Monday friends; I hope spring has sprung wherever you are. It is still snowy here in Minneapolis and it has been really cloudy for days now. At a time when I'm supposed to be putting my spring floral outfits together, I'm still organizing my winter jackets. Haha! I give thanks in all things though as it should be. This is the outfit I wore to church last Sunday; it was a  cold windy

Happy Monday Friends; I hope you started off the week in a good start. I started mine at Church yesterday as usual. Since Sunday is the official first day of the week, I enjoy getting dressed and going to Sunday Church Service with my family to offer thanks and prayers to God. I'll share my Sunday look some time in the week. Right now, I'm sharing this look I wore a few days ago. I know they say "No white after Labor day" but hey! Who gets to make all those rules anyway? Well, I'm making my own rules here! 😆

I paired my white button down shirt with my white denim both from JCrew

Velvet and Pleats

Happy Thursday Friends; this is a very quick post here on the outfit I wore to Church a few Sundays ago; a burgundy color
velvet blazer over a grey metallic pleat skirt; a simple and fun outfit. It was a cloudy and windy day and I got quite a laugh from the twirling skirt. Also, I'm quite happy that the pleated skirt trend is here to stay. Let me know

Hi Friends, how is everyone doing? Welcome back here. I took some days off from the blog and I'm back. These pics were taken last summer and I'm wearing one of my favorite pants. Gingham prints are definitely here to stay and have been trending for a while now. I purchased this pair from Loft about three summers ago and it is presently sold out. As gingham prints trend this

How to look chic in the last days of Winter

Winter is gradually coming to an end but not without a bang. There were lots of snow storms around the country over the weekend and we pray for God's protection on all who are/were in the path of the storm. After

Blog Anniversary and Olive colors

Happy Tuesday Friends and happy 5 years blog anniversary to me. My blog turned 5 last week and I'm really happy and grateful to God that I'm still here doing what I love. This blog was started in 2012 as a hobby and an outlet for me to express my love for writing and Art. It was and has always been a personal (public) journal of mine and has been very therapeutic. I have grown better over the years and have made great friends through blogging. I have also learned a lot too. I am celebrating my anniversary today with a throwback to some of my unusual color combination posts; the khaki and olive color combo. And like I always say; I am not a stylist or professional blogger so, I am not teaching anyone how to dress here but just showing my own personal styles and how I have fun with trends and my styling boards or Fashion Mood Boards. I have also been showing my love for God and my Christian faith and sharing scriptures along the way which is very fulfilling for me.

Sleeves Week - Style boards

Still on the matter of dramatic sleeves; need some help styling this trend for work or play, Monday through Friday? Look no further as these style boards would give you great ideas. There are so many options to choose from that you can have a different kind of dramatic sleeve for every day of the week. How about doing tie-sleeves and a pleated skirt for Monday? which is a very formal look and gradually building the drama for the week with a ruched sleeves for Tuesday and balloon sleeves for mid-week?

Trumpet sleeves on a pencil skirt can go well with Thursday and casual Friday can be very casual with a white bell sleeves top and a cute pair of denim pants. If you are into this trend;
