My top three holiday looks..
These three looks here are my "very" favorite looks for the holday and I wish I can have them all especially the red lace dress with the feather hem; totally glamorous. Sequins, lace and fur are just the best for this season.

Blue Plaid Coat
I had the opportunity to wear this blue plaid coat; one of my favorite coats at the beginning of fall. I got it last Spring at the end of season sales and it was quite a good discount although I do not remember the exact amount I paid for it. I love the great blue color and the bold collar. These pictures do not show its real beauty and I look forward to taking pictures of it again with a better camera. I paired it with one of my favorite jeans too that I blogged about here. The great thing I like about this coat is that; it can be worn over formal and casual outfits with ease and I like the tie belt in front.

If you are looking to winter buy coats; the end of season is the right time to shop. The only downside about waiting at the end of the season to snag a sale is that; there are always limited sizes and colors available at that time. Just a couple of days to Christmas; I'm so excited. My baby turns 2 also on Christmas day. God has been good to me.

Stripes and Fringe..
When I posted these pics on my Instagram @beautyojo a few months ago, I captioned it; "Baggy Clothes-don't care;" and that is exactly what most of this outfit is. My white distressed denim is a size bigger than what I usually wear and it is also high waisted. I got the jeans off the sales rack at Target when I went shopping for toiletries and it was the only size available. Since I did not own any distressed white denim at the time, I did not want to pass up on it. Instead of just wearing the stripped tee over it, I chose to throw the red blazer over it for a pop of color. The blazer is also somewhat a loose fit. My red fringed sandals sealed off the look and though the outfit looks matchy-matchy, there is a lot of texture to it with the distressed jean and fringed sandals.

I went grocery shopping in this outfit and minus the bulge on my stomach that shows the high waist of the jean, I felt pretty confident in this outfit. I am looking forward to wearing this outfit again next summer and maybe I'll just switch some pieces out; a little Christmasy look too; I think and talking about Christmas, it's just around the corner. Let's not forget that Jesus is the reason for the Season.

Army Green
Hi Friends; I hope we are all doing great. It's almost the end of the year and I pray for God's mercy and protection on us all. I'm back again for some quick chit chat. This outfit is what I wore to church a few weeks ago. Every piece in this outfit has been in my closet for ages and I just threw everything on in haste that morning. When I first purchased this cameo pumps, I was a bit skeptical on how I was going to style them but so far so good; I have been able to pair a couple of pieces in my wardrobe with them.

The trending boots of the Season..
Ankle Boots..
Ridding Boots..
Over the Knee Boots..
Fall is certainly boots season when the stores display their latest and finest and if by the onset of winter you do not have your own pair of boots out and ready yet, then you certainly live in the tropics or some place with very mild winter in which case I envy you. The weather in the fall and winter months at my end usually call for the full season gear and to be honest, it is this trendy and chic wardrobe which includes boots, gorgeous scarfs, hats and coats that makes the season bearable. If you are out shopping for new boots this season, the options featured in the collages above are classics that will never go away. They continue to trend every season.

The classic prints of the season in "Black and white."
Grid..
Gingham...
Plaid...
Gone are the days when "leopard prints"was every lady's print; when leopard print accessories were the trend. These days, classic prints like polka dots, houndstooth, gingham and tartan (plaid) have entered main street fashion. They can be in the form of accessories like scarfs, bags and hats and they can also be the classic winter coat or jacket. Last year, I did a similar post on the classic winter prints here and a year later they are still here. What I'm really loving most about these prints is their evolution from coats and jackets into scarfs, I'm definitely loving this trend; are you?

Burgundy deal
Hola!..:-). I'm seriously loving the Spanish language these days and I'm sure I have been watching too much of "Dora" on the kid's network. I need a break from mommy life...lo. 'Thank God my girlfriends and I are planning a girls night out soon. We usually get together now and then for a dinner or movie date to chill and chit-chat and I just can't wait. I also have a friend's wedding anniversary celebration coming up this weekend so, the party season has officially started for me.
This outfit is what I wore to church last Sunday and it is burgundy overload. I got the hat over the summer and I really liked the color and considered adding it to my Christmas gift list but when I looked on the website just a few days after receiving my order in the mail, it had sold out. The leather skirt and burgundy sweater are recent addition and these Altuzarra booties are from last season. I thought at first that this monochrome look was a bit too much but I think the textures of the pieces balanced everything out.

The Yellow blazer
I think a blazer is a fashion piece that every woman should own no matter her style or fashion choice. It is so versatile that it can be worn on its own as a top or it can be used as a layering piece. When shopping for one, it is always best to get one in a neutral color first before adding different colors and styles. I got this yellow one years ago and though I do not wear it often but it is such a great color to own. I paired it with this stripped tank top and skinny jeans and it really popped. I wore this outfit late in the summer along with this jewelry that I scored at Victorias Secret for free after making a minimum $75 purchase.

I thank God for bringing me this far in life and I also thank him for many more miracles in store for me. I am thankful too to my friend Fola for my feature on her blog. Check out the feature in the link below to know some tid bits about me...:-).
