Casual Work Style: Stripped shirt + Denim

Happy Monday friends; I hope your week is off to a good start. I'm going to make this post very short. I'm wearing a stripped button down shirt over grey color denim for a casual work day. Hey! I know it is Monday and we are supposed to be all dressed up and ready for business on the first day of the work week but you know, not every one works in a formal work environment.

Happy Friday friends. I hope the week has been great. I'm sharing this casual look I wore sometime ago to commemorate breast cancer. I even had on pink lipstick which I usually do not wear but it was for a good cause so I'm glad I stepped out of my comfort zone. I'm wearing a pink blazer

 There are so many names for these trending bags; basket bags, wooden bags, straw bags, wicker bags, bamboo bags....whatever name you choose to call them, they are the trendiest bags this season. You can see them everywhere; runway, streets, on TV, you get it. Hi Friends, I hope the weather is beautiful and bright wherever you are. Well, this outfit is what I wore to visit some friends a few days ago.  So, I have been wearing this tee a lot lately sent to me from the owner of Wear your Praise Christian Apparel and it is definitely one of my favorite graphic tees. I love a good graphic tee with an inspirational or motivational message and I would pick one any time over a plain boring tee. When it comes to casual style, graphic tees really elevate any outfit; wear them over denim, wear them over florals or any solid color bottom like I did in this pic. I accessorized with this red fringe sandals which adds more fun to the look and the red color really does complement the design on the tee.

Shoe Lovin' - Badgely Mischka Pumps

 

 


So, it's another shoe loving post on here and being that the celebration season is here; prom, graduations, weddings...I figured I'll talk about this beautiful grey satin pumps I have been eying for a while. They are designed by Badgely Mischka and as with all Badgely Mischka shoes, they are heavily embellished with crystals and really beautiful. They are definitely not everyday shoes.

Yours sincerely here *eemmm* (clears throat) definitely do not mind having a pair of these shoes as they are moderately priced compared to the higher end Manolo Blahnik pumps but I'm still struggling with the idea of spending so much money on a pair of shoes that can mainly be worn on special occasions especially when I do not have a prom or graduation or even a wedding in sight; *haha!* 😀
