Please, do not adjust your phone or computer screen or glasses if you are wearing a pair 😁 Happy new year! Yes, this is January, 2023 and not December 2022. It's a sort of throwback -post on the blog today. First of all, I hope your new year is going great so far. Thank you so much for stopping by here. I wish you all the best in this new year, 2023 💯
This is one of the looks I wore for Christmas but I was way too busy to write a blog post. However, I had the pictures saved in my archive for blogging, so, I decided to still share them anyway though it's a new year and they really do not apply as such. And this is one of my resolution this new year; "just do me!" I'm doing whatever I like this year and whatever makes me happy. There is no need for comparison anymore even if I wasn't really doing it before. There is no need for following trends; this year, I'll wear what I like, post what I like and do whatever makes me happy so long as it is for my greater wellbeing; spiritually, mentally and physically.
My other resolution is to continue to promote sustainable and affordable fashion, which I have done here for years, and this includes, wearing or restyling my old pieces and maximizing my closet. This tulle dress is a skirt I styled previously here as a monochromatic outfit. This time I just threw a black blazer over it and accessorized it with green colors by using a pair of green metallic block heels and green earrings and a black beaded clutch. I converted the skirt into a dress by pulling it up my chest of course and using a clear belt to cinch my waist. So, this is what we are doing this year; keeping everything simple, keeping everything green, while striving to live a stress-free life. And above all, staying committed to our Faith and values in life. I love you for reading and stopping by here.
