How to style Leather: Outfit inspiration

Leather is a huge trend this fall and if you have never loved leather pieces, this might be a good time or season to rethink your style or taste in wardrobe. There are so many pieces or items made from leather in various price points from different retailers; high and low and you will definitely find something that you like. Leather fabric is great for the season and would elevate any piece of clothing that is is paired with, if styled right. Gone are the days when the only piece of leather clothing we all owned was a boring piece of leather moto jacket.

If you need some inspiration on styling your leather pieces, these collages would help. The first look above features a high-waist brown pencil leather skirt with belt. Since the skirt is very dramatic and a statement piece, I paired it with a simple high neck top. The boots and bag are also statement pieces and together they increase the drama or vibe of the whole outfit. For a simple look, you can switch out the graphic accessories like the bag and boots and just style the look with simple accessories. This style above is very, very trendy. It features a brown color pencil leather skirt as the main piece. The top is a tie-dye sweatshirt and as you might know, tie-dye is another huge trend this season. The faux snake print ankle boots is a fall staple. Put together, this whole look is like a mixed-prints style because the prints in the sweatshirt and the boots complement the other. This look is great for any casual event this season.

This look above is a monochromatic look that feature a stylish cut-hem sweater over brown leather pants. The snake print boots is the statement piece in the entire look and the Fendi tote pulls the whole look together. This is another look that is great for any casual event. It is simple and fun and would serve as inspiration for you when styling your leather pieces.
