Shoe Lovin' - Block Heels

It's almost New Years...I thank God that this year is finally coming to a close. It was such a dramatic year. I have my new year eve's outfit picked out already and this is the shoes I'll be pairing with my outfit; a pair of suede block heels I recently purchased. It is all about the block heels at the moment and since I plan to be on my feet (dancing and praising God in Church) for a good part of the night, block heels were the obvious choice.

The above pair is from Payless Shoe Source and under $30; quite a steal. The heels are stylish and super comfy and comes in three colors; black, red and cognac colors. I wore the red pair during the Christmas season and I would post some styling pics of the red color later and this black one too; most probably in the new year since the new year is just around the corner.

Florals and Velvet

Happy Tuesday Friends; this is a quick post showing another holiday look centered around florals just like the post I did on here. Can you spot the style board featuring this look? I paired a burgundy color velvet blazer over my old Chicwish floral skirt with a burgundy lace top as a camisole; a glitter clutch and suede heels completed the look. Velvet is so on trend this season and there are countless styling options you can achieve with a velvet blazer. This is somewhat a very formal look but take off the blazer and you are ready to party. Florals and fur holiday outfit.

Happy Christmas Monday 😄 I know today is a holiday in some other parts of the world and it is also known as boxing day. Since Christmas is all about giving, let us not forget the reason we have the Christmas holiday in the first place; a holiday created to remember and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ who came to save all humanity.

I had a wonderful Christmas celebration yesterday in church and a very beautiful dinner at home with my family and friends. It was my youngest 3 years birthday yesterday so we had a joint celebration; birthday party/Christmas dinner. This outfit is what I wore to church yesterday; a bold print sleeveless floral dress layered with a black long sleeved shirt and a faux fur stole; simple and elegant in my opinion 😁 I hope you had the merriest Christmas ever..

Casual holiday Outfit

Happy Thursday Friends; this is a very quick post here. I looked in my archives and dug out these photos so they are quite old pictures but I'm actually wearing a similar outfit right now as I'm getting ready to step out the door to do some last minute shopping. The camel color coat is such a huge favorite in the holiday season; throw on an old tee over a pair of denim, put on some comfortable shoes and you are good to go to go about the days shopping activities or shenanigans.
