Happy St. Patrick's day! I just could not help it; I had to put up a post today. I do not know why I like St. Patrick's day so much but I suspect it might be because I have lots of Irish neighbors or should I say; neighbors with irish roots. So, it's been the norm for me to wear something green to work today like some of my other enthusiastic co-workers. Spring is in the air and I can't wait to see all the colors and beauty that comes with the season; the blooming trees and sweet smell of grass and all the yummy pastel colors. Tan Monochrome

Hi Friends, I hope everyone is doing great. It is starting to warm up really fast over here; "Yay" to Spring! I wore this look to church a couple of Sundays ago when it was still cold. My oversized camel color coat is the warmest ever and I was so comfortable; I almost did not want to take it off; however, it is a little bulky and heavy. I took these pictures quickly in a corner of the church building; my new location I just found; hehehe..lol. It can be a hassle scouting for places to take blog pictures. I am just glad that my son is always a good sport and never complains when it is time to snap a pic or two. I'm wishing everyone who is reading this post all of God's blessings in the new month of March and always.

Black and green Circle Skirt

I have developed a new love for all things lace and I do not know what to make of it yet...:-). I looked in my closet recently and discovered that my lace dress collection is growing rapidly. JCrew had a sale recently and there were very beautiful and colorful dresses for half the regular price; about $40.00 a piece. This black lace dress I used as a top for this skirt is actually very long and I just layered the green Chicwish skirt over it; one of my holiday looks for 2015. My daughters did not like this look though; they said the skirt was too puffy and that it looked like a tutu skirt. However, they liked the red lace combination I wore in my previous post and that left me puzzled..

I had fun with this outfit although I felt a little chubby in it; it must have been all that great Christmas food. I know the circle or full skirts have been around for a while and I wonder if the trend is totally out already or still out there. I'll keep my eyes open this summer to see what ladies would be wearing to showers and weddings.
