Hi Friends, I just wanted to say a quick hi and to remind you that my blog anniversary Giveaway opens in a few hours. The requirements are quite simple; all you have to do is guess the outfit I picked for my partnership with Eshakti as I explained in this post here. I'm going to edit the list and narrow it down to about five or seven items. There will only be two winners and the first two right answers would get gifts cards to shop at Eshakti. Giveaway would only be open for 24 hours.

Shoes shoo blues..

So, this post here is for shoe lovers; not shoe addicts because addicts would need a different kind of intervention. I put myself in the first category because I know I have full control over my shoe obsession and thankfully, my shoe taste does not discriminate. I love all kinds of shoes so long as they are pretty and are of good quality with a good heel. I can buy shoes from Payless stores or a discount shoe store if I like it and I can also buy shoes from Neiman Marcus and Saks if I need to but for the most part, I try to avoid those bigger departmental stores because when I am in there, my interest does not end at the shoe store as I find myself gravitating to the clothing racks. 'For this reason, I like to just go to a regular shoe store and get whatever I need without looking for extra trouble...:-). And one of my favorite shoe store happens to be DSW. The ones around my city constantly change their inventory and there is always a great pair at a good deal for the shoe lovers.

I posted some photos on my INSTAGRAM yesterday about my activities and still on the subject of addiction, the reason I was skeptical of getting on Instagram for a long time was because I heard all the stories of people getting addicted to it and I was already addicted to this blog and I did not want more addictions...:-). At the time I finally got on Instagram, most of my friends were out because they were just tired of it or cutting off on their social networking. Well, I'm still on Instagram and I won't say I'm addicted yet. If you want to join me on there, please do. I always follow back and my Instagram profile/id/handle is; beautyojo.

Back to my story; we had some snow on Monday and it was not too unusual because I live in Minnesota and snow in March or April is not uncommon so, Monday's snow was no big deal. I wasn't too excited about the snow though and I had some winter and Monday blues and that is why I decided to stop by at the shoe store yesterday evening. In my previous visit mentioned here, I had seen this pair of ankle strap pumps on the clearance rack but I just admired them and put them back on the rack. However, I was determined to seek out the pair of pumps yesterday without the shoe associates help and my thought was that; "even if I did not find them, at least I could enjoy the thrill of looking."

                                                                               HERE

Well, as you can see, I found them and they were still on clearance at 30% off. I paid close to a hundred bucks for them but was a little disappointed when I checked out the shoes on Michael Kors' website when I got home and found out that they were on sale for about $60...oouuch!!!
Do not forget to check out my Giveaway sneak peak in my previous post and be back on Friday for the vote.

Giveaway Sneak Peak and ESHAKTI

                                        1                                                    2

Hi friends, it's my three years blog anniversary this month and I feel it is time to host a Giveaway on the blog to celebrate. It has been three fun years of blogging and it has been great getting to know a lot of amazing bloggers in blogsville. I also partnered with one of the leading customized clothing store known as Eshakti and I already have their piece in my closet and this piece is the subject of this Giveaway. The piece I picked from Eshakti to review on the blog is amongst the 13 pieces of clothing shown in this blog post and the reader(s) who is able to guess the piece that I picked would get gift cards towards a purchase at Eshakti. There will be a maximum of two winners (with the right answer) within the 24hours that the Giveaway would be open starting March 27th so watch out.

This blog post is just a sneak peak of the Giveaway and your response regarding the selected pick would not count at this time but if you want to leave any comments about the pieces featured and what you like about them, you are free to do so. I am thinking I might streamline or edit the pieces to 7 items to make the guess easier for everyone since I only chose one piece. I wish I could have all of them though...:-). Eshakti has so many beautiful and trendy pieces and these here are my favorites but like I said; I had to pick one. So, what do you think; edit the list or not?

                                          Jacket/Dress

Blue Blazer/dress

It's time for spring closet cleaning and I just realized that I need more blue pieces in my closet. The first piece I usually buy when I am doing my closet/color update is a jacket. I got a blue jacket recently from Dress Barn and then went to Polyvore to create some outfit collages on how I would style my jacket this spring. I just thought I should share.

What I want for Spring.

What I want for Spring

What I want for Spring by ojomrs featuring gingham pants

There are so many trends for spring 2015 that are influenced by the eighties and fashion has somewhat become a recycling bin which is a good thing I must say. With little change and tweaking here and there, we can almost wear clothes from our Mom or Grandma's closet these days...:-). Amongst the many trends that would be showcased or worn this spring, these are some of my favorites.

Shoes In - Mojo Moxy Bowie

Happy St. Patrick's  day everyone! I hope you are having or had fun with this holiday if you do celebrate it depending on where you live. I wore a green color outfit to work today but was unable to take outfit pictures so I decided to shoot some pictures when I got home showing the latest addition to my shoe closet and they are green too...:-). So, a lot of us know that bow tie ankle strap pumps made popular by the famous Amina Jillil have been trending for a long time now. At less than $300.00, the bow tie pumps were a steal and then, Just Fab released a cheaper design of the same shoes and there was a lot of buzz about these bow tie pumps on so many fashion blogs.

Just Sincerely over here knew about all the buzz but decided to ignore it because, seriously, some trends do get over done and then I heard the pumps were very uncomfortable too. Well, fast forward to months later, when the trend is almost done and I have a pair of bow tie pumps in my shoe closet and it was totally unplanned. I'll tell you the story...

I had my bi-annual dental check-up a few weeks ago and I left work an hour and a half early to make up for the traffic but it happened that I got to the dental clinic too early and instead of just sitting in the clinic lounge to read magazines, watch t.v. or get a free massage in the high tech massage couch, I decided to go spend an hour at the mall which was just a block away and headed straight for the closest shoe store; DSW...smh.

I walked around the store enjoying all the beauties on the shelves and then something caught my eye in the corner and I froze! These shoes were right there in my face!! I never knew Mojo Moxy had a bow tie pump in their collection since I'm a bit used to the brand. Well, it happens that they were on sale too and to cut a long story short; I finally got bow tie pumps...:-). I love that they are green color too because I really do love green shoes and it's even better when they are suede. The Mojo Moxy version are not as high as the other brands which is a "con" for me because in my shoe world, "the higher-the better." However, they are very comfortable. Well, here they are. You'll certainly see them soon in an outfit post on the blog and these are my new summer wedding party shoes...:-)

                                                                              Here  on sale Here

                                                               ST. PATRICK'S DAY

Extracted from wikipedia

Saint Patrick's Day, or the Feast of Saint Patrick (IrishLá Fhéile Pádraig, "the Day of the Festival of Patrick"), is a cultural and religious celebration held on 17 March, the traditional death date of Saint Patrick(c. AD 385–461), the foremost patron saint of Ireland.
Saint Patrick's Day was made an official Christian feast day in the early 17th century and is observed by the Catholic Church, the Anglican Communion (especially the Church of Ireland),[4] the Eastern Orthodox Church, and Lutheran Church. The day commemorates Saint Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland,[3] and celebrates the heritage and culture of the Irish in general.[5] Celebrations generally involve public parades and festivals, céilithe, and the wearing of green attire or shamrocks.[6] Christians also attend church services[5][7]and the Lenten restrictions on eating and drinking alcohol are lifted for the day, which has encouraged and propagated the holiday's tradition of alcohol consumption.[5][6][8][9]
Saint Patrick's Day is a public holiday in the Republic of Ireland,[10] Northern Ireland,[11] the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador, and the British Overseas Territory of Montserrat. It is also widely celebrated by the Irish diaspora around the world, especially in Great BritainCanada, the United StatesArgentinaAustraliaand New Zealand.

Patch-Patch Suede and Polka Dots

Hi Friends, I'm back again. I mentioned in my last post which was actually published yesterday that I was having a fun time. Well, the fun continues as you can see...:-). While I was browsing and blogging yesterday, I visited one of my favorite blogs and saw this awesome graphic geo-patch skirt worn by Psyche of Economy of Style. Well, I remembered that I had a similar skirt in my closet which I had not worn in a long, long time. I decided to try it on today to see if it would still fit and it did snugly as you can see...hehehe. It's a tad too short now and I think it is time to get me another skirt like this because I really like the patch work design and here is where the excitement really lies.
The similar skirt worn by Psyche is by ESHAKTI and I am working with them presently to showcase one of their looks on the blog and I'll keep you posted. However, I'm seriously eyeing the ESHAKITI  piece and the fact that you can customize their pieces by adding pockets to them is just awesome.

Okay, suede is trending and this suede skirt is a win! win!!. I paired it with an old sparkly turtle neck sweater that I got from Victorias secret a while back and since the weather is almost like summer now, I just wore light stockings. The Carlos Santana boots I'm wearing is also a patch work of suede and leather haha! And then my old brown leather jacket finished the look. So, you see, fashion bloggers do wear old clothes! Some people think fashion blogging is all about buying and buying and there is little truth to that...**eyes rolling**....lol

My hubby who took my pictures today is making another debut on the blog. We wanted the kids to take a picture of us together but they were running around and did not care...:-). Any time the kids get to be outside when the weather is warm, it is something else.

See you again soon; I got lots of stuff to take care of now. I have been having too much fun lately and eating without care and I have started to pack on all the pounds I lost not too long ago. I have got to start my diet and work out routine again. Our body is the temple of the Holyspirit and we got to take care of it.
