Pop of Yellow

The weekend is over but I am glad it is a holiday tomorrow and that means we are going to have a short work week and that is so awesome. I went to a friend's graduation ceremony today; he has been a practicing pharmacist for year before he decided to go back to school for his masters degree. And it was quite great that he finished the program at the intended time even with family obligations. A very big congratulations to the graduating class of 2015 everywhere; way to go!

I decided to put on this jumpsuit for the occasion because it is so fun and a bit trendy at the same time. I added a pop of color with my yellow heels because yellow is the color for the season and I like the way, yellow, black and white go so well together. If you are able to overlook the inconvenience of going to the ladies room, jumpsuits are very great party outfits. It has been raining a lot over here in Minneapolis and I hope it is nice and dry where you are.

Blue is my new black

I am back and I'm going to get the ball rolling hence forth...:-). I suddenly remembered or realized that October is my birthday month and I promised myself there will be no more slacking whatsoever including on my blog especially on my birthday month so I have decided to plan my schedule again; leaving some time for blogging every week like I did before and I'm going to make it work despite my tight schedule.

This jumpsuit here has been in heavy rotation in my closet lately. I ordered it from Forever 21 this summer and I have worn it to a couple of events already. Another realization I made recently is that; I love the  color blue. Green and purple used to be my favorite colors but these days I find myself unconsciously gravitating to the color blue and it was a no brainer that I picked this blue floral jumpsuit amongst all the colorful and pretty designs on the site. I'm so glad too that the jumpsuit have pockets; another win-win for me...:-).

It's amazing that this year is rolling to an end so fast and there is so much happening out there these days that one can do nothing but pray. You know what I mean? Prayers changes things.
