Cropped floral blazer + Pink high waist Pants

Oh, I don't remember when I purchased this floral blazer but I know it's been years. It was a trendy piece the summer I purchased it from Target mostly because floral blazer was a big trend that summer. I'm thinking it was 2010...2011...Well,  I have held onto this blazer all these years because of the great quality and the fact that cropped floral blazers are not easy to find at an affordable price. I know I have styled it somewhere before on the blog with blue denim and this time around I decided to pair it with a pink color high waist pants or paper bag pants; a huge trend in the spring. I layered a white tee underneath and completed the look with brown platform pumps. I have been shopping my closet for months and have not done any major fashion shopping but I am looking forward to doing some shopping for Fall. What about you? Tan and Floral

Spring is blooming!! woot! woot!! I went out with the family today and this is what I wore; a floral blazer over a pair of tan shorts; definitely very neutral colored-outfit and not so colorful but the floral blazer does represent spring in a big way. This blazer was a thrift find several years ago and it is the first time I am showcasing it on the blog though I have worn it lots and lots of times. I actually thought of wearing a pair of red gladiator heels with this outfit then changed my mind last minute and went for this neutral color Chinese Laundry gladiators instead.

 We made a couple of stops today; visited family, did some shopping and also stopped at the park. It was not a big surprise to see lots of people at the park and out and about because the temperature was in the 70s. We Minnesotans spent too much time in the deep freeze during the winter months that we can wait to get all the sun and fun of being outdoors. I hope you all are enjoying some great weather wherever you are.

Old with pops of blue

Hi Friends, I remembered a few days ago that I needed to do some updates on some posts I did a while back including this one here. This floral blazer is pretty an old purchase from target but I do not get to wear it all the time. I wore it during the summer to my city's corn fest which was a two day celebration to bring the residents of the city together. There was food, games and music. It is done annually but I had not attended in years prior to last summer. The pictures I took during the event were all blurry because it was evening and my iPhone was not at its behavior..:-). I decided to wear the same outfit again a few days ago and though the pictures are still blurry, they turned out better this time. I am yet to get a new camera and I use either my iPhone or my iPad to take my pictures currently and it's usually my seven year old son that takes my pictures. My five year old daughter took these ones though. You see, I'm training the whole family to be blog photographers! The life of a blogger...:-).
