We are gradually getting to the end of the summer and the summer heat has been intense this year. I have been enjoying the summer by rotating summer fashion essentials from my closet; shorts, cotton tops and lots of button up shirts. Every season, I do a wardrobe/closet edit and fill any void I might have by sourcing affordable pieces. My wish list serves as a shopping guide for me each season.
On my list this summer, is a pink color button up shirt preferably a cropped one. Cropped shirts (tops) in linen, lace, mesh fabrics are great for beating the summer heat. This straw bag with black floral detail or bag charms is very chic and cute and I would love one in my closet. Also, I have wanted a pair of leather shorts for a while now and I am eyeing this pair here and also this high waisted piece here.
Bubble hem or puffed hem skirts or dresses have been trending for a while and I'm thinking of getting in on the trend with this piece here. A cropped denim shirt or jacket like this almost sold out piece from Zara is very chic. I have always wanted a back pack and this pink piece from Steve Madden is very chic.
A butter yellow purse or handbag is also on my wish list and Aldo has some affordable options. As I said earlier, I have been wearing a lot of button-down shirts and would love this green and white striped piece in my closet. Mesh flats have also been a huge fashion trend since last Summer and you can find affordable options online. What is on your wish list this late summer? Thanks so much for reading 💯
It's warm most of the year where I am so a lot of the wish list would work for me year round. I hope you got the green striped shirt, the leather shorts or the straw bag. Those three are my favorites. All the best for the season!
