Denim is an essential in my closet any season and denim skirt is even more so especially in the summertime. This season, the button-down shirt has a "bread and butter" relationship with denim with great styling options; you either tuck it in all the way, do the half tuck or the hem ties.
In this post, I styled my blue button-down shirt in a hem-knot over a distressed denim skirt that I have owned for ages previously styled here. As usual, I kept the accessories simple; a straw bag with a scarf tied around the handles, (the scarf by the way was purchased at Dollar tree months ago for $1 before the $1.25 price increase) and the bag itself is a thrifted piece from years ago. This thong strap sandal with cork heel and J. Crew earrings completed the simple look. This outfit can be worn to visit friends or to go shopping. Thanks so much for reading.
