This summer has been very hot so far; the heat wave is what I am talking about; I am not talking about hot girl summer vibes 😆 My summer outfits at this time include, denim shorts, white tank tops and white tees because light colored fabrics do well in keeping off the heat. And then there is the blazer; a cotton or linen blazer is a must-have even on a hot summer day.
A light color blazer is needed for extra coverage when you are indoors in an air-conditioned environment on a hot summer day. However, if you are outdoors at the farmers market or sports field with your loved ones, the blazer is not necessary, but it should always be close at hand just in case. I accessorized my look with a green straw bag (you can find similar ones on Etsy.) I purchased my straw bag from the thrift store years ago. I also got my green blazer from the thrift store, and it only cost me $6.99. My lime green sandals completed the look. Thanks so much for reading.
