Long coats are essential winter pieces that is highly needed for cold dreary winter temperatures. If you are just starting out building a winter capsule wardrobe, it would be a great idea to get one in a neutral color like tan, beige or brown and then you can go for a bold bright color afterwards that you can wear in the spring or cooler months.
This long blue coat is an old piece from my closet that I burst out to the scene every winter. The color is as bold and as bright as it can be. I paired it with a pair of leather trouser pants also similar here which is trending at the moment. If you own a pair of leather trousers or pants, this is the time or season to wear it. I completed my outfit with a pair of combat boots and black purse and was good to go. A colorful coat is a great winter to spring transitional piece. Thanks so much for reading.
