Shopping for sustainable fashion: Velvet Pantsuit

Fashion is taking a new meaning in 2020 at least here in my neck of the woods. It is definitely going to be more sustainable and thrifty than ever before on here. If you have read this blog for years, you would know that I have always loved thrifting mainly because of the unique pieces and style you can achieve with a curated thrift wardrobe. My holiday style this year is a big reflection of this and here I am sharing this vintage looking pantsuit.

I have had this velvet blazer for years which is one of my favorite thrifted blazers; previously styled here and  here.  I recently found this matching velvet pants on a thrift trip and I knew I was going to style a holiday look with it. I paired the pants with my velvet blazer and accessorized with a box clutch and my old Jessica Simpson's T-strap Dany Platforms which I haven't really worn a lot but that would change with my renewed approach to fashion. In 2020, every piece in my closet is going to be worn. I love the simple look of this outfit and I hope it inspires you to style things from your closet. Wishing you all the best of the holiday season.
