Pastel's Work Style: Light blue Pants + Metallic Accents

Hi Beauties, I hope the week is going great. For those in the United States, it's a short work week because of the Memorial Day holiday on Monday and that is a good thing. Today's post is about how to style pastels for work and when I say pastels, I mean those light yummy colors like creams, yellow, light and baby blues, mint, lilacs, pink, know what I mean. Pastels are a big deal this season and I call them "happy colors." I think the key to making pastels work in a corporate work environment is to break up the pastels; that is, pick only one pastel color in a top or bottom and pair it with a slightly darker shade like I did with this grey plaid blazer. "Pastel- look" from head to toe is a little too festive for a corporate work setting. I completed the look by adding metallic accessories with my metallic tote and metallic cap-toe white pumps. The white tee just made the light blue pants pop but not too much which makes it still work appropriate. What are your thoughts on the pastel's trend? Thanks so much for stopping by here.
