Hi All, I am just signing in to wish you a merry Christmas. I pray you have a wonderful time with your family and close friends. Here, I am wearing a green color chiffon dress in line with the Christmas spirit and some neutral heels. I thought of wearing some red color shoes initially then decided to go with these nude heels. I was busy making sure everything looks nice on my Christmas tree when these pics were being taken.
The kids have been longing to know what kind of presents they got and they just keep asking questions on and on...hubby and I always tell our kids that Christmas gifts are from Dad and Mom because God provided for them. We do not believe in deceiving kids with all that Santa lie!
One of my friends dropped by last night with all these amazing balloon creation for the kids and these little penguins are my favorites. Some people are so creative! The kids were very very excited to get them and they popped a few of them already.
Thanks so much for reading and have a succesful and productive week.

Green, silver and black
I am back today to feature my Sunday outfit which just screams Christmas!!!! This is the most wonderful time of the year and it's even more amazing that we are having a white Christmas; beautiful white snow glistening in the sun. It's cold alright but nice all the same. I do not think I can have Christmas any other way. It just has to be white...:)
The colors in my outfit are black, grey (silver) and green and while the silver somewhat represents the glistening snow, my thrifted green suede jacket just sings Christmas; yes, it sings Christmas..:) **Oh the weather outside is frightful,
but the fire is so delightful
and since we've no place to go
Let it snow! let it snow!! let it snow!!!**
That was the song going through my head as I took these pictures; not necessarily a Christmas carol though...:)
Green suede blazer, silver brooch and silver color totes are thrift finds..
ouch!! where is the other leg...:)
There it is...:) like I said earlier in a previous post, I like to convert my summer dresses to winter gear. The dress in this post is a halter neck dress which I quickly threw a jacket over and with all the right warming undergarments, I was ready to go to church.
Church was fun today as usual and as we all gather together to celebrate Christmas, let's not forget that Christ's birth and death brought us all redemption. All we have to do is to get closer to God by giving him worship through songs and prayers and acknowledging that his son Jesus Christ died to redeem us from our sins. Have a wonderful Christmas everyone.

Brown tones...
Hi beautiful people of blogsville..I hope you are all enjoying your holiday shopping and taking advantage of all those numerous discounts out there. A word of caution though! Do not be carried
away by all the good deals so you don't end up shopping yourself into a coma..:) I know we ladies love to shop but like I always say; fashion is great but there are other things more important than fashion. Or in this instance shopping is great but there are other things more important than shopping. It's nice to give and receive gifts at Christmas but let's not forget the reason for the season. It's always nice to take a deep breath at this time to reflect on the wonderful gift of salvation that Christ brought to this world.
Anyway, school is over and I am on vacation from work and enjoying the quality time I am spending with my family. Hubby is on vacation too and this even makes everything better. Also, I am done with my shopping and have everything all wrapped up and I am just ready to partttty...:)
I just wanted to sign in to say a quick hello on my blog and if you are reading at this time, I wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year in advance.
In this post, I am wearing a brown trouser suit which I decided to take from a formal look to a very casual one by using leopard prints. I have worn this leopard print blouse and shoe combo in a previous post too and if you have gone through most of my posts, you'll know by now that I love animals prints.
My prints blouse was purchased from Tj Maxx years ago and I wear it alone to relax at home some times. My leopard prints pumps are Colin Stuart via Victoriassecret. The clutch is also from Tj Maxx.
Brrr...rrrr...**Shivering**It was so cold but I just had to brave the chilly temperature just to take these pictures. Keeping up with blog postings is so much fun...:)

Sweater dress + Slacks
Hi beautiful people of blogs ville. I am just going to make this post as short as I can because I got to go take care of some other stuff...:) so many things on my mind.
I am wearing one of my sweater dresses I got from Victorias Secret a couple of years back which I cinched in the waist with a dark green Merona belt from Target and some dark green slacks.
The quality of the pictures are so poor and the colors of the outfits did not pop the way it is supposed to be so, I do apologise. However, If I were a fashion stylist or expert, I would really get upset at my no-good camera but I just blog for fun and I know I can get away with some slack...hehehe..:)
Something flew past my face here and I was just wondering if it was a snow flake. The forecast says that we are going to have some more of the white, beautiful and fluffy stuff this week.
Thanks so much for stopping by, reading and commenting on my blog. Let us together make this world a better place for everyone to live in. God bless and have a wonderful week.

Khaki Jacket..
Hi all, "I ammmm backkkk!"...:) I hope every one is having a wonderful week so far. It was so sad to hear the news about the Connecticut shooting this morning. So many beautiful, young and innocent souls just wasted. My heart goes out to all the families that were affected by this tragedy and I pray that God would comfort and restore them. I have three young kids and I know how much joy and love these tiny souls give out as they grow and it is just so sad when any young soul pass away for any reason. This just goes to show that we need God in this nation. This is not about putting bans on guns and fire arm restrictions and all that; this is about taking America to the place it was when the founding fathers founded this nation. It is about having God as the front and center of everything. Well, this is a fashion blog and not a political blog so, I will digress at this junction and talk about my outfit..
I love fashion and if you are reading this blog right now, I am sure you do too...:) It's so relaxing when we fashion lovers look at all these fashion blogs and fashion magazines and go shopping or sometimes window shopping when we can not afford to buy anything. So, why can't some people just pick up a hobby like this that is not going to cost them much instead of getting frustrated and depressed about life and picking up guns to go and kill innocent people...oh my..I am so hurt!
I am wearing this khaki color jacket I got from Banana Republic and a back tee and black jeans. I accessorized with taupe color Steve Madden shoes and a wine color handbag. The jewelry is just minimal; just this brown and clear Lucite necklace I got from Dress barn years ago and a pair of gold ear-rings.
The weather was so so cold; do not be fooled by the smile. I took off my winter jacket and gloves for this shoot so when my fingers started to freeze, I tucked my hands inside my jacket to keep warm. Also, my block heeled shoes are all coming to use this winter. The floors and driveways are too slippery and icy for stilettos and six-inch heels and when I do wear them, I am always super-careful.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. I do appreciate you reading this and I welcome your thoughts, questions and comments. Let's continue to pray for this nation. This senseless violence needs to stop. Take care and God bless. **Kisses**

Teal tweed
So, the snow storm is over and we finally get a break. It took a few days for most of the streets and highways to finally clear out of all that ice and slush from the storm and now every one can breathe a sigh of relief. It is nice that we are going to have a white Christmas though and talking of Christmas, I can't believe it is so so close...nice!
I got inspired by all these white beauty around me and decided to bring out all my white outfit; jackets, pants, tops...just name it!...:) In the past years before my color makeover, I would wear dark and grey color clothes through out the whole winter and just look as gloomy, boring and cold as the weather. However, now, I am vibrant, colorful and would remain so all through the year, the weather notwithstanding...."Yay!!"
So, I am wearing this teal tweed jacket I thrifted a couple of months ago and a teal fitted tee shirt from Talbots. By the way, you can never catch me in a loose tee unless I am in overalls painting my house or washing the floors. I just do not like loose tee shirts and I would never even wear it to the gym also. And talking about the gym, one of my things to do for the new year is to loose about ten pounds and I hope and pray I'm able to do that.
I am also wearing this white Calvin Klein slacks I got from Tj Maxx and with my teal color Jessica Simpson pointed toe pumps and my Kenneth Cole Reaction tote, I was ready to face the cold gloomy weather.
Oh, did I mention my turquoise ear-rings? They are my number one color accessories because I reach for them first whenever I need to add some pop of color to any outfit. Watch out! you are going to be seeing more of these ear-rings on this blog...hehehe..:) I decided to do without a necklace because I felt a lot was already going on with my teal tee and jacket, shoes and ear-rings.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and have a beautiful and blessed week ahead.

White, peach and a hint of leopard
So, it's been snowing for hours now in the twin cities and there is so much excitement in the air. The kids are the most excited because they now have enough snow to make snow men and snow angels. I woke up to the noise of plows and shovels this morning and we have plowed our drive way three times in between since the snow started yesterday morning. It's starting to taper off anyway and we might just need to do one more plowing before it is all said and done.
So, I decided to do another color burst today and I did a combination of white, peach and leopard. However, my peach Talbot's pants look pink in the pictures probably in an attempt to match my light pink Prada hand bag. Besides, I totally enjoyed taking these pictures in the snow. I love the way the snow flakes kept falling on my face and though they make the pics blurry, I'm glad I was able to capture the moment. And if you are someone like me who just loves nature, you really will not mind...:)
I usually like to wear block heeled shoes when it snows but could not resist this six-inch-leopard pumps from Victoriassecret.
I am wishing you all a lovely and productive week ahead. **Cheers**
