How to style a leopard prints skirt for a holiday Party
The first thing that came to my mind when I saw this No. 21 pleated leopard prints skirt online was Christmas party. The beige color of the skirt with the red color contrast hem is so edgy and festive. I paired the skirt with a beige color or oatmeal color sweater with waist ties and black floral brooch. The red color beret complements the skirt nicely and the red color Staud bucket bag and black open toe Gianvito Rossi ankle boots elevates the edginess of the outfit. Give me Rain..
It has been raining a lot in the twin cities (Minneapolis-Saint Paul) the last couple of days and while the rain is actually no big deal compared to the snow we deal with in the winter time, It does mess with our plans of enjoying outdoors. However, I do not mind the rain at all; in fact, give me rain everyday, I'm happy with it. I really would love to just lay under the blanket on a rainy day though but on a day like today when I wore this outfit; I had to go run a couple errands which also included some shopping.
I wore a pair of black flats with this outfit to run around but switched into this heels for this shoot. This BCBG peacock print pumps go so well with the down vest and I love the prints a lot. When I first saw this shoes online, they were sold out everywhere in this print and I tracked and purchased this pair on ebay; It is the only thing I ever bought off of ebay and I think they were totally worth the purchase.
This denim pants are my latest DIY project; It's an old pair of jeans that I purchased from Target a long time ago and I took a razor blade and emery board to it to create the ripped and distressed look. It actually took less than ten minutes to complete the DIY. I am gradually loving the distressed denim trend but I'm glad I did not have to spend a lot getting the look. More DIYs on the way this summer..:-).

What to wear on a Rainy Day 1
Mac cosmetic

Spring showers should not hinder our style in any way so it is always a good idea to own some fashion pieces or clothing that can elevate our look on a rainy day. When holding an umbrella or wearing a raincoat is not practical, we can wear a down vest with fun accessories or a cute pair of rain boots when there are lots of puddles on our way. "The glam continues-rain or shine...:-)."

Old and New
Hi Friends; I hope February is going great thus far. The phrase "how time flies" has become some sort of a cliche these days because it is used so often but time really does fly. As I got ready today I remembered that I had posted this same dress on the blog about three years ago in this post here. I was just new to blogging then and my posts were just mainly rambles and my pictures were all unedited with very poor or no lighting. It is not as if my pictures are perfect now but I really have come a long, long way and I'm so thankful to God that I'm still alive today doing all the wonderful things that I love which includes writing and blogging. So, my blog turns three next month; **woot! woot!!**
Now to the outfit; I'm always so glad when I'm able to transition my summer clothes into fall and winter. All I had to do was put on some layers and this old dress was good to go. Also, what I really love about it is the color. Initially, I thought it was blue but now I think it is a "teal color." What do you think; blue or teal?

I thought this old dress with my old Express tights (I have worn this tights to pieces..lol) needed some new accessories to go with it and I paired it with my new bucket bag from Ann Taylor. I had a hard time trying to decide whether I wanted the beige color bag or the dark color but I eventually went for the dark color. The bag is smaller than I expected but I think it is okay for some outfits. I also got out my trench coat from Victorias secret which was on my summer list here and blogged about here and I was good to go. Oh, my Altuzzarra for Target booties completed the whole look. I always get so excited when I am able to fit into my old clothes.

Matthew 12:9-12New International Version (NIV)
9 Going on from that place, he went into their synagogue, 10 and a man with a shriveled hand was there. Looking for a reason to bring charges against Jesus, they asked him, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”
11 He said to them, “If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will you not take hold of it and lift it out?12 How much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.”
