Red Ruffles

 

Hi Friends; happy Tuesday. It's the season of red dresses! The holiday season is a good time to add that beautiful red dress to your closet for that special holiday party or event. This ruffle sleeveless dress is an old piece from my closet. I purchased it from Burlington coat factory about five years ago and I got really excited when I tried it on this past summer and found out that it still fits. I paired it with floral sling back sandals and with little or no jewelry. This dress has very dramatic sleeves so, there is no need for a necklace. Earlier in the Fall...

It was sometime at the beginning of Fall; around the beginning of October when I took these pictures. I am always amazed at the color and beauty displayed in nature during the Fall season and this might be the main reason why I just love Fall. Spring is my next favorite season with all that blooming of nature and chirping of birds in the trees.

On this day, the weather was a little chilly outdoors but I was lounging indoors and was not really going anywhere. I wore one of my favorite dresses to lounge in; a purple floral dress I purchased from Venus a couple of years ago. The fabric is so soft and comfy  and I love the mix-match of the patterns in the fabric.

I just wanted to sign in to say hi. Presently, the weather is very cold and we had the first major snowfall of the season a couple of days ago and there is another storm in the forecast for next week. Now, it's the time to rearrange the closet again and thinking about it is really daunting and exciting at the same time.

This green and white dress was purchased from Burlington Coat factory years ago and it's one of my converted maternity dresses. It's wrinkle free and easy to wear and on days when I desperately need  some infusion of color, it comes really handy.
