Wishing everyone joy, happiness and health this new month of August 💯 The year is gradually getting to the end. Can we talk about the heat wave though! I hope everyone of you is keeping cool. My outfit today is not the best to beat the heat because of the color; black colors absorb heat as we know. However, the fabric and style of the dress is great for keeping cool while still staying stylish in this hot summer weather.
I purchased this smocked summer dress from Lulus a couple of summers ago and it is currently sold out but there are different variations and style of it at a lot of retail stores right now. I styled the dress with a pair of black sandals and a brown straw bag which is hands down my favorite summer accessory. I just love the style and texture that straw bags bring to summer outfits.
