Leopard prints tunic + denim

Leopard prints is trending in several different colors this season and this is what makes the trend so much fun. The classic brown color prints is still a big deal and holding strong but having a mix of the colors makes for a fun wardrobe. I purchased this greyish, black leopard prints silk tunic from T. J. Maxx years ago and it was actually from the plus size department at the store. I liked the unique color, soft fabric and style of the top then but never really got to wear it over the years because I thought the top was a little too big and the trend faded away. I was excited to try it on again a few days ago and was even more excited when I realized that it wasn't really all that big plus I have gained some weight over the years too; haha! 😃

I paired the top with light blue denim from Loft and cobalt blue tassel earrings from Target which added a pop of color to the outfit. My round messenger bag and clear strap sandals (also known as PVC or translucent sandals) from Forever 21 completed the look. It's a very simple outfit that can be worn to pretty anywhere. Throw on a black structured blazer over the top and put on a pair of great black pumps and you can wear this outfit to work on a Monday if you work at a less formal work environment or wear it to work on Friday as casual style. Happy Monday and thanks a lot for stopping by here.

  1. Leopard print with denim... you're so damn cool and trendy, sweetheart!
    Kisses, Paola.

  2. Cute outfit! The grey is such a fresh take on traditional leopard print. I think I need to look for that color combo now ;)
