Hi everyone, happy Tuesday. Summer is right around the corner and it is time to get out our summer wardrobe and accessories. 'want to know the most comfortable pants to wear in the summer? Pick up a pair of khaki pants or chino pants and you are good to go. The khaki and chino pants (or shorts and skirts) are very popular in the summer time because of the light weight feel of the fabrics. Both fabrics are made of cotton and only differ by their weave of which the chino pants is of a tighter weave than the khaki pants. The fabrics are very breathable and hence very appropriate for the hot weather. The khaki pants were not so chic and attractive in times past but the latest designs of khaki pants with waist-tie belts and very close fits and even the paper bag trend has made khaki and chino pants to be very attractive. JCrew even came out with a very chic polka dots chino pants last season as can be seen here. The polka dots design and fit of the pants is just amazing.
Khaki and chino pants are also very easy to style. For my outfit, I paired a white button down shirt over my baggy or loose fit khaki trousers and added a pair of floral flats to add some color and interest to the look. And of course, I just had to pair the look with my straw bag. Straw bags have become summer essentials. The Sunnies is also another important summer essential that we should not leave the house without. 'want to check out similar pieces/items of this outfit?
