Lace in the Summer heat

Hola! Yeah, it is a pity summer is almost over but I can't wait for fall to get here; my favorite time of the year. Summer is fun but the heat can be brutal sometimes; to cool off this summer, I stocked up on a lot of shorts for both indoors and outdoors. This eyelet lace pair is from Loft and the pictures do not do it justice because it is quite pretty. I paired it with a sleeveless lace blouse and a cream color linen blazer. I took the pictures in the mid summer but did not really want to post them on the blog because they did not come out great but changed my mind and decided to post them anyway. I am doing research now on cameras and would get a good one soon. I'm trying to get one that is not so complex because I'm not so "camera technology" savvy though I love photography (ironic, right? **eyes rolling...:-).**)


So, back to my outfit; I found out that adding a blazer on top of my shorts is more comfortable for me for outdoor outings because the outfit always look way too casual without the jacket. You might say a jacket is not needed in the summer heat but who cares?...:-). The weather can change last minute anyway especially if the outing is extended to the evening hours and if it does not, it's still okay. However, to combat the heat, I decided to choose a cream color jacket. Whites and cream color clothing combat the heat very well.
