Comfy Formal Look

This fluid ankle pants or pajama trousers as they are sometimes called are as comfy as can be; previously worn here. They have a very casual look but still can be dressed up in a formal way. I got them from Loft last year and I have them in two colors. I wish they had them in black though and I'm actually on the look out for a black pair right now because it would be great for running errands or going on a trip.

I paired this with a fitted blazer today to achieve a formal sunday look and threw a scarf around my neck cos it is a little windy and I wanted to add a pop of color with the scarf. A colorful statement necklace can be a substitute for this scarf too; a very simple and comfy look for today. I'm looking forward to more stylings of my blazers and I have started making sketches on a journal on the different ways I can style each one that I have. I love to draw and color and really enjoy every opportunity and time I have to do it. Maybe I can share some sketches on the blog soon.

Pants and tee: Loft
Blazer: Ann Taylor
Pumps: VS Shoes
Purse: old
Scarf: Target

I'm already looking forward to summer when I can style this pant again. I'm thinking I can pair it with a white tee again and a denim jacket for a very casual look. What do you think about that combination?

I'm wishing everyone a great week. Thanks a lot for stopping by this space to say hi and connect. I would be stopping by your blogs too to say hi. So, just leave a comment with your link if you are visiting for the first time.

Thanks so much for stopping by

Hebrews 10:24-25New International Version (NIV)

24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

  3. It took me a while to come around to the ankle pant trend( My ankles get cold easily :) but I finally did and found a pair from NY and Company during a major sale that I love. Every time I wear them I get loads of compliments. I really like the color of your pair and I think the white t-shirt will be a good look. I'd also try a mustard or emerald colored top to play off the richness of the print and add one of your fabulous coats. Have a great week!
