Happy Shoe Year!!!.., oh, happy new year...no, no, happy shoe year! Yes, I meant to say that...:-). This is my first post for 2015 and it is all about this new fuchsia pair of pumps that I got for the new year. The color is very bold and it's very suitable for spring which I am longing for right now. **Brrrrrrrr** it's freezing in Minnesota friends and school was actually canceled for the kids a few days ago. There has been nothing much to do but to stay indoors and drink hot cocoa and coffee. Fashion wise, there has been nothing much going on too. All I have been doing since the new year is drape myself in coats and blankets and I do not want to bore you guys with pics of that...**yawn.** Anyways, a good part of the nation is affected by this deep freeze I know so, I pray for everyone to stay warm and stay safe. Last Quarter Summary

The last quarter of the year was so much fun and full of inspiration. Yeah, my blog is my own inspiration too. I get very motivated when I put up blog posts and I also get entertained. My blog is my major source of social networking right now as my Facebook account is reserved for family interactions and I just signed unto Instagram not too long ago and I'm still trying to figure it out..:-) (I'm old school, I know!..Lol) but I hope to widen my social network a bit in the new year.

Embellished Sweater and a quilted Purse

2015 is almost year and it's almost unbelievable! 2014 has been an amazing year and I pray and hope that the new year would bring more amazing things to us all. It's still a festive week with the New year celebrations coming up. An embellished sweater like this one I got from Loft at the beginning of the fall is very work appropriate at this time of the year; combine it with a pair of corduroy skinnies and you can go anywhere and face any situation..:-).

Let's ring in the new year with a heart of faith and love; trusting in God above all things. He's the creator and giver of life and we owe our existence to him. There are so many that have passed and couldn't live to see this day or the new year and there are so many grieving at this time but we have been so blessed to be alive and blogging and doing all the things that we love.

My heart goes out to all those who are grieving or those that are in sad situations at this time and I pray that God almighty comfort them all. Life is not easy sometimes but what can we do? 'only have faith and move on.

Blue, white, red and a twist.

Hi Friends; I'm trying to get all my saved archives unto the blog hence the multiple postings you might have noticed. I am also doing some housekeeping because I do not want to carry over any post from this year into the next year. This outfit here is what I call Christmas Casual. I wore it sometime last week after the Christmas holiday.  How else can we reflect Christmas in our outfits than to add a touch of red? My red coat was in significant rotation this season. The twist in the outfit is my black and white calf print pumps and maybe the necklace?

I'm wishing everyone all the best in the new year. It's certainly time to do housekeeping because it's not okay to carry trash or garbage into the new year. I do not believe in New year resolutions though. All I do is pray to "be the best I can be." I was a better "Me" in 2014 but I pray to be the "best Me" in 2015. "We all should aspire to be the change we want to see in the world." I do not know who said or made this quote but I really like it.
