I must say that gifts and presents is not all that Christmas is all about. Christmas is the remembrance and celebration of the birth of our lord Jesus Christ and the gift of salvation. This season embodies the concept of giving (the birth of Christ) so it is okay to celebrate by giving of gifts.
Gifts however, do not include physical and material items alone. Gifts can be services too like helping a neighbor clean off snow from their driveway or offering to prepare meals for someone. So, if you are still looking for last minute gift ideas, consider the gift of services. If you cannot do the service yourself, you can contract others to do it. There are cleaning companies or agencies that you can find locally or from trusted apps that you can send to someone's home; maybe an older friend or relative or even a busy family that need help with cleaning their home.
You can also contract local chefs and restaurants to prepare and deliver meals to loved ones; just be creative this season. And if it is too late to hire or contact these services, just buy gift certificates or cards and hand deliver them or better yet, just send them electronically. And then, if all these ideas do not appeal to you, there is always the gift of cash which you can send any where electronically.
