The Camel Robe Coat: Formal Dress Essential

Happy Monday everyone and happy December. This is my favorite month in the year I tell you. I'm so looking forward to the Holiday/Christmas/New Year celebrations but I'm also hoping that time would slow down so that I can enjoy every bit of this season. If you are still looking to take advantage of all the discounts and sales at this time, you might want to add the long camel robe coat to your list. This is a closet essential if you ever dress up in formal attire for work or even dressing up for other events like weddings, Church services and formal parties. The robe coat is very elegant and classy and also very comfy and cozy. A good quality 100% wool coat is quite expensive and can be a big fashion investment. There are however, so many options available at different price points at different stores.

The coat I'm wearing in this post is an old purchase from the consignment store and it's a closet staple for me in the winter time. For this look, I styled it with same camel color pieces to create a monochromatic look and completed the look with leopard prints pumps. See the original Post here that shows the full outfit. Pants and bow tie blouse are from Loft and my leopard prints pumps are an old closet favorite. Check out robe coat options in different price range by clicking on the options in the shopping links below.

  1. Happy December Beauty! I love December too! It's such a festive and magical time of year :) I can see why this gorgeous coat is a cold weather staple for you. It looks so classic and versatile. This monochromatic look is very chic.

  2. The temperatures in my neck of the woods don't dip as low as they do where you are so I've had a trusty black pea coat(old faithful) for about ten years. This year I saw a very affordable camel robe coat from Uniqlo and I decided to buy it to give old faithful a rest. I agree it's a great piece to pull everything together.

  3. Your outfit looks very well put together, Beauty. I love the shoes.
