White and black Abstract

So, Christmas 2015 has been over for months but the memory is still here. I found these pictures in my archive today of the pictures I took during the holiday season. It was a Christmas party that hubs and I had been invited to and I just didn't want to put on any Christmas themed outfit or colors so, I chose this black and white abstract dress that I purchased from Romwe a couple of months earlier when I decided to give the online store a try after reading so much about it on other blogs.

The dress was exactly as it was pictured on the site however the sizing ran very small despite the fact that I had gone a size up when I made the order. Well, I did not want to return it since I only paid about $20 for it in the Christmas sale. The quality of the fabric is great though. I accessorized with my faux-fur sleeveless vest and a black belt and jewelry and I was good to go. The party was so much fun and there were lots of ladies dressed in the typical sequins, sparkly and red and black colors of the holiday and I was one of the oddly dressed female guests. However, I stood out in a good way and I got so many complements on how beautiful my dress looked. "Lesson learned- just follow your heart when it comes to fashion; you do not have to go with trends all the time."

  11. You can't go wrong with black and white. You look great. You can wear that dress in the spring with some sandals and later in the fall with some boots. That was a good purchase. Happy Easter to you and your family.
