The Grand Finale

This weekend was so much fun; my siblings came over to Minnesota from out of state for the Fourth of July Celebrations and it was nice seeing my nephews and nieces again. After a series of barbecues including one at the lake side and the fireworks finale last night, I am pretty much exhausted. No, I did not wear this short suit to church today; I changed into this outfit when I got back from church. I decided to pair this distressed graphic tee I purchased from Forever 21 a couple of summers ago with the red shorts and as always, the jacket and shorts are separates (from different stores) but I purchased a grey pant suit and  a yellow short suit as a two piece recently it felt quite odd when I was making the purchase. I have always enjoyed putting together a suit by mixing and matching pieces from different stores. Check out my previous post here.

This BCBG Paris d'orsay pumps has been in my closet for a while and I just like the prints. They are currently on sale at DSW. Would you consider having a pant suit as part of your suit collection? They are very fun to wear especially in the summer time and they can be worn just about anywhere depending on the type of tank top or camisole worn underneath. I figured wearing this red suit was a nice way to end the great celebration of the Fourth of July weekend.

Jacket: Loft
Shorts: J.c. Penney
Tee: Forever21
Pumps: DSW (currently on sale)
Purse: Relic (old)

I hope you had a great weekend too wherever you are. Thanks so much for stopping by.

  1. Hi beautiful! I had to check out those BCBG shoes! I hate that they had my width, but not my size. I don't think I like it very much when fashion bloggers tease me with their beautiful shoes. Lol! I hope I did not do that on my last fashion post:-) you look stunning doll. And I always love how you keep your outfits so simple. Have a great week ahead!

  8. Great look Beauty! It does not look like separates. It looks like a set. As always I love your shoes. It's a shame I can't wear heels that high anymore.
