Blush Floral

I was contacted recently by Dresslink to check out their site and pick a couple of items for review and I immediately thought floral midi skirt. I have always loved the trend since it came on the scene but I just thought it was for the millennias initially. I am still in my thirties though but if you put me on a scale, I would lean more towards the big four-zero; a couple more years and I will actually be celebrating that mile stone. So, like I was saying, I decided to try out this trend with the chicwish floral skirt which I wore a couple of weeks ago and I actually liked it. This is why I wasted no time in ordering this skirt when I found it on the Dresslink site. It is currently sold out in this pattern but you can find other options here and here. I paired it with a pink top from loft and blush color pumps.
Stop by at Dresslink when you need pretty elegant lady clothing at affordable prices and they sell wholesale too if you are in the business mode.

If you are looking forward to attending some events this summer, the floral midi skirt would be a style to consider. It is very appropriate for church events, weddings, tea parties, bridal showers, baby showers/christening, wine tasting or even date nights. I wish you all a blessed week. See you soon.

Casual Style: Target the Stripes..

A light weight tee and a jean is as casual as casual can be on a not so hot summer day. My love for stripes continues and this is such a fun print that has recently started gracing my closet racks. This outfit evolved from Target and I must say that Target is slowly becoming one of my favorite stores too. They have a nice selection of casual outfits.

I hope everyone is doing great. I decided to make this post as short as I can because my heart is a little heavy. I pray yet again for all the victims of the shooting at Charleston and I pray for our country USA.

Brush Strokes..

Happy Sunday Friends; the summer heat is here. It was so hot today that I was so puzzled on what to wear to beat the heat. I finally picked this white plain tee but the fabric was so light and sheer and my undergarments were showing so I had to layer a tank top underneath. I paired it with this multi color midi skirt that has such a beautiful print of a landscape. Yes, "Artsy Print" is the print that is really trending right now. On this skirt you can see all the beautiful brush strokes of a carefully painted landscape; how awesome. If you remember, this skirt was on my Eshakti list a while ago when I hosted my Giveaway.

I fell in love with the skirt when I saw it on the Eshakti website but it was not part of the free selection for bloggers review so I could not pick it at the time. I had to purchase it on my own later along with another gorgeous red lace dress. I paired the skirt with my blue cobalt pumps and this multicolor necklace I got from Walmart last year. I was able to beat the heat in this outfit and I know I will be recycling this skirt again this summer.

I hope you have got your summer wardrobe ready if you are reading this post; tees and light skirts are a must-have for the summer heat. This is one way I would wear a tee without looking too casual.  I wish everyone a great week.
